  1. Good morning Dan Both look fantastic. Well done. Hard to chose which I like better but if I were to chose it would be the horse being I love animals.
  2. Good morning Jim Very fine work you've done. Looks excellent. Glad to hear therapy is helping you feel normal again. Have a great day.
  3. Hi Lori I use a branding iron that says (HANDCRAFTED BY RON JOHNSON), and a burning tool. All my work is signed. Any items I sell a business card is attached. You're the artist so all your work should be signed. Your item then looks more professional.
  4. Good day Hans What happened? You've done a fabulous job of cutting. Very fine work. Now onto number 3.
  5. Hi Mike You've done an excellent job on designing and finishing. Your daughter will be proud.
  6. Good day Onder Nicely done.
  7. Good morning Roly Very well done. Congrats on your new granddaughter.
  8. That's one of the items I saw when researching the Hawk. Like you say, very impressive. I am leaning towards purchasing the Hawk if ever my Excalibur gives up the ghost.
  9. Good day Luis One heck of a fine job you've done on the fishing rod rack and to top it off from recycled lumber. Well done.
  10. Good Fay Congrats. Now let the sawdust fly.
  11. Good morning Frank Fantastic job cutting of a nice pattern. Well done.
  12. Good morning Dick You did a beautiful job cutting that Valentine heart and I love the pattern. It'll be beautiful with a photo within. As for the box ,,. Well, that is outstanding and again very well done. What I like the most about the box is that it's not over done with fancy scroll design. Just enough to make it effective. I'm sure your wife had a smile and maybe a hug or two when you presented them to her.
  13. Good morning Berry Recently I've researched the Hawk. On the latest model available now the blade clamps and parallel arms have been upgraded from previous models. Excellent customer reviews and it's one of the higher end scroll saws. I believe the price on the 26" was around $1800.00. I have the Excalibur 30 first generation and parts are no longer available. It has performed flawlessly since new 15 years ago with never an issue. Still running like a charm and hope to get another 15 years. Anyways I would find out what models those ones for sale are and do some research and make sure parts are still available if needed. Then I would check them out and if there are no issues make an offer. I never pay the asking price, but for around &350.00 it sounds like it could be a good buy. Stands should be available. Others here that own a Hawk should be able to give you the pros and cons. Hopefully one of the saws for sale have no issues in operating, parts are available and you get it for a good price. The good thing is that it's not made off shore and service should be excellent.
  14. HI DAN Excellent work you've done on both. I like them both but for some reason my eye is stuck more on the cross and rosary.
  15. Hi Dan Very nicely done. All my grand kids would love one.
  16. Good morning Roly Very beautiful and nicely done. In regards to Love Day there's a small town called Love very close by. Love attracts many people on this day and throughout the year from several parts of the world. Bring your wife to this town and present your beautiful sign to her. You would then have enough brownie points for remaining of the year.

  23. Good morning Kevin Those days are not gone until YOU say they're gone. Besides, speed is not everything. The enjoyment of doing what you are good at and get satisfaction from is. Everybody eventually slows down a little. It's a fact of life. Enjoy today, tomorrow will take care of it self.
  24. Good morning Larry Love the wood chosen with the bark edge. As for the design and the cutting you've done ... what can I say that hasn't already been said. It's fabulous. Next one please.
