  1. Hi Paul. Where I’m located I purchase all my exotic woods through Windsor Plywood. I recently purchased 3 five foot lengths x 5” wide and 1” thick. Their only store that had stock was in Saskatoon, so I bought what was left. One of my favourite woods. Check in your area the dealers that stock exotic woods. Should be more readily available there being it’s grown in the USA. THANK YOU.
  2. Try 3 in 1 oil and oil the pivoting points of the top and bottom clamps.
  3. Coincidence Paul. I’ve done the cabin and just completing barn and truck. You’ve done an excellent job on both. I’ll post when done.

  5. Made this one just before breakfast... LOL, anyway the size is 7 x 4 and 2” high. Done in Blood wood and Holly and finished with Minwax wipe on poly satin and buffed with cabinet makers wax.
  6. Hi Berry. With a chisel and mallet I cut a ½" diameter around for the opening. From there I hogged out the depth I wanted using a mortice chisel. there are other ways of hogging out material such as using a drill bit, forstner bit and etc but I love my chisels. Thank you.
  7. Awesome display Dan. Hope you do well during your two day show. Does Square work well for you and do you find people using plastic more than cash at show events?

  24. Hi Les. Go to Amazon.com and search Stanley hearer. You'll see the same model listed under the name Lasko 1500 W for $69.95. It's black and siver. This is the one I have under the name Stanly and yellow and black in color. If it's not to your satisfaction it can be returned. Leave it set on high and adjust the thermostat accordingly. Knobs on side can be adjusted for height of air flow.
  25. Beautiful signs Denny.
