  13. I use my delta almost every day and the helicoils came out on my upper blade holder ( when i was working I could have fixed it myself but being retired I cann't) I bought the saw 8-16-1918 and this is the only probllem I have had with it. before the Delta i had a Dewalt 788 and in the first year I had it in the shop all on warentee work. before that I had a Craftman for 15 years and it finally gave out on me I looked at the new craftman when I bought the Dewalt and they looked real cheap.n I guess they just donn't make them like they use too. I have been doing this since 1962 The saws then were not as advanced as they are now. I guess that is why they wear out dquicker. The old ones were more mechanical and you couldn't do the tings that you do now. ike
  14. Thanks . but I will go to the pegas mlade holder. I was going to get 2 new Delta holders but the pegas is only $25 higheer than 2 from ereplacements. IKE

  23. I have one a Shih-0tzu with wooden pegs . I used axel pegs and that was 3 years ago. I glued them in with tight glue, and I drilled the holes Under size by .0i5 and hamered them in. I also have a Happycamper and it has mini shaker pegs usening the same drilling , that one has lasted me abouddt 5-7 years no peg loosing. I prefer the wood. i also sanded a shight champher on the pegs so they would start in streight. ike

  25. I use olson's blades I use a #5 match blade for 1/4 thru 3/4 thickness. I also use it on masproduction of 1/8 stacked to cut 5 at a ime and I useally get to use all of them but if I am cutting single 1/8 or 1/4 bb ply I use a # 3 match balden for Cherry or Walnut 3/4 I use a 3 & natcg bkade. cut at my swweeeeet speed. I have tried FD or pages blades and I always go back to Match Olsons. IKE
