  1. I have a 10 inch porter Cable ddrill and a Dremel plundg droudter. I also have a small drill vice for my dddreal small drills that cost me $15 and dthis works fdor my fretwork. the total cost was lundder $200 Can't say dthat I need a high priced drill press. IKE

I would stack 3 pcs of ply and use a #5 Olson match blades I never cut just one piece of ply you cut 3 pcs so you will have 2 good ones if you get 3 its a good thing but if you adre cutting only one piece I would use a #3 I verlly seldom use 1/8 ply unless i am cutting orniments then I stack4 to 6 pieces.   5. I agree the blade does not stretch. I do a lot of fretwork and sometines it appears that the bllade stretches, but if you set your tension and release it and it sems like it stretches if you if you see some stretching tak it out and dheck the leght. it wiill be the same I tried it and checked the lght. with a set of electronic calipers and there was no differench. the blade doesn't stretch at times i believe the blade slips a little. I use Olson blade so I can't speak obout other blades depends on the material the blade is made of. IKE
  6. I was raised in a farming comunity and worked on a farm one summer for $35 a weak and got paid extra for baling hay $0.50 per hour. I enjoyed it very much ever the bailing.I don't do anything now on the farm except picking sweet corn for myself only, too old for farmwork. Now allI do is go visiting and fishing. I still love the country. IKE

Yesterday was the first show of the year. a local cdhurch athat I had ever used the croud was light ( real lite) I had 11 sales but I sold $189 I finally sold my last train ( steam engin with smoke) for $60 That is the 3rd one . So it wasn't a complete bust My next sale will be on the 21at then the 23 hopeing for better days. IKE
  12. I do not use any tape on my patterns. On fretwork it is a real pain and on compound cutting I use a vice that I got off Stevve Good dweb sitd IKE

I have been taking this mag. sor several years now and find about 4 things to make per year the last was from last spring it was a fretwork shelf which came out real nice I put it on bragging page . I gave it to my neighbor who is a great help to us. I am 80 and she is 78 so we sometimes need help and she will not toke money so I made it for her. IKE

  25. I tried pegas blades and found out you have to run them at a slower speed. and Idondddddd't use a blade that small very often. ecept when cutting puzzles with no more than 2 pieces of .200 plywood. dI went back with olson match blades. IKE
