  1. I have a magnifying light like Ozark sawdust has, I got it from mansards for $40 and it works rine gives off plenty of light. ddI have had it for about 5 years now and burnt out one bulbat the cost of $10 It's the only way I can cut any more, These old eyes are getting pretty old IKE.

    This was lots of work but I gave it to my neighbor who helps me and my wife out a lot. I have never figured out the time but it is at least hours or more. IKE

  7. I use krylon I buy at michales with a 40% of coupon it is about $5.50 per can and it holds good IKE

  10. I bought a delta about this time and it is still running good. i got rid of my Dewalt when I bought this delta I had the Dewalt in the shop under withe in 6 month after perching it then I repaired it 3 more before scrapping it.as you said that at 80 it's not worth the $500 difference. IKE

  12. I just started using pegas blades and the wear time on 1/4 BB ply is about 1+ hour but on 3/4 pine it is about I got 20 minuts and they were shot. I had used olson blades for a long time and the wear time was a lot higher the same speed. pegas blades are LOT smother running and I was almost sold on them. IKE

  15. I have made them and they will sell not as good as the puzzles . they are worth the space . IKE
  16. @ 30 cents per blade it's not worth it to me.I useally get one hour of cutting time on a blade with very little burrs on the back. the time gained by this is eaten up with sanding. IKE

I have owned 8 Scroll-saws in the pasts 50 years andd the metal stand never worked out right so I mad one out of wood. put two wheels on the back and a handle on the front. this allows me to move the saw around the shop. this also allows the saw to set at an angle which I prefer, but in using the metal strand I would i add wood in the frame and with all bolts I would use lock tight on the nuts. also use a shock pad under the saw which is mounted on wood. Wood observer the vibration. steel won't. The only thing I have on a metal is a Table Saw. I have no vibration. IKE
  18. I have made sealer of the Dog leach holders. and they sell. I have dog puzzles and this will be the last year for them , not making any new ones just selling what I have. They are good sellers andI am tired of making them. This is a hoby not a business. IKE
  19. Did you check the fuse it is located right under the motor. You do have a 5 year limited warenty ? did you check the fuse
  20. ai use the cheep home doe plywood ($15) a sheet for the back of my projects and Lowe's oak plywood ($33) a sheet for the front on some projects and I also use BB ply. IKE
  21. I don't know I bought a sheet of 1/8 B.B for $21 and they cut it 4 pcs. for me.

  23. Is there enough room on the dust collector to handle a pattern that is 15" X 12". You must top feed the blade.. IKE
