  1. It was about 1o cent a blade but the Pegas didn't last nearly as long as the Olson's,.. I go thru about 3 doz. a week $3.60 saved with Pegas blades. Not worth it to me, IKE
  2. I used blue painters tape, but not much any more, it peals off easy but when you do fretwork ( as I did with my train engin it is a real Paine, more than 400 holes in a piece of 7" X 14' wood it took about an hour to remove it,now I just apply my pattern to the wood.
  3. I have bought a pack a while back and wasn't impressed with them, they were-only about 10 cent cheaper per blade then olson's blades. you can't buy much for a dime.
  4. Most of the people ere will tell you to leave the box store blades at the big Box store and use FD or Olson'si prefer olson's, on most of yur projects you will either use #3,#5 or #7 blades I use a # 9 every once in a while, but for you staik to the #3,#5' #7 do not rush your cuts and keep the tension to a ping. IKE
  5. I agree with cowpoke IKE
  6. Got my last pack of drills from Harbor freight size 1//16 (.062) pack of 6 for $2.95 That's not as good as yoou but Menards every where, We just got one here but I haven't looked for drills yet. IKE

  11. Welcome to the village. i prefer Olson's. easier to control and last longer before they get dull. and they are easier to get. I buy them at Marinades I have gotten the Spiral blades free and tried them but don't like them so I gave them away. they were FD brand b;ades..
  12. I prefer olsons have used both but the Olson's are more convent for me I buy them at Menards I am in the area an the weekly basis. There is not much difference between them .It's just what you prefer. ike
  13. I will check it out IKE
  14. I just bought one at the DeWalt repair center for $12 IKE
  15. I have tried all of the above. i do mostly fretwork That leaves little bits of wood with the pattern on it, which is a pain to remove. for my train engin and my nativity scenes it is a problem. i found Elmer's multi-poise spry adhesive. apply medium amount to the pattern apply directly to the wood. When you remove the pattern apply a light coat of taint thinner to the pattern and it peals off easily, I can only find it at Hobby Lobby IKE.
  16. In my area you have to keep your prices under $35 on the more difficult pieces and UNDER $20 ON MOST EVERY THING ELSE HAVRE CUT SOME BUT NEVER PRICED THEM THEY WILL BE UNDER $20. IKE
