  4. I use Tight Bond. it will hold forever. the main problem is if you make a mistake It is hard to remove parts without breaking. I did find a solution to the problem and that is unseeing vinegar to soften up the glue so you can remove the parts If you cant soak the parts take a foam brush and dab vinegar on the glued joints till it lousing up
  5. Welcome to the villager Amanda.Scrolling is a very addictive hobs. I guess I started about 45 years ago been threw about 5 saws. There is lots of patterns here and other web sites. Scroll saw workshop is a good one . just Google free scroll saw patterns and you will find them, Your first piece looks real good. have fun and take your time and you will be ok. IKE
  6. jjj I have a dewalt 788 and I am very pleased about it it did go bad on me once-while it was under guarantee and I took it to dewalt repair shop and they fixed it . It took about 2 weeks for them to get to it but they fixed it pretly quick after they got on it. a back up saw is a good idea just finding one at a reasonable price is hard to do.

    Handy Tips

when glutting projects together I use tight bound glue . if you need to take apart use vinegar to soften the glue so parts can be removed without breaking them. take a foam brush and soak it in Gagarin and apply to the part, aome times it takes several applications to soften the glue .
