Thanks Hawk, I was so focused on words I never thought of symbols, I like the infinity symbol,

I have a small box (4.5 x 2.5 inches) the inside is divided down the centre. the idea is for a bride and groom to place something in each half as a token of love, the box is then locked and sealed for eternity. I want to put some words on the lid without personalising it with names but I am struggling to come up with appropriate words, has anyone in the village got any suitable ideas please,bearing in mind its is quite small.thanks.

When it happened to me I held it in place with an elastic band till a replacement arrived, worked well.

This was commissioned by an ex squadie, a copy of one that hung outside his barrack block in the 70s/80s. Its still a work in progress sanding, glue the key and scroll on and laquering, but nearly there.

one of our Bobby's was killed in the line of duty by hit and run in a stolen car, the powers that be wont allow officers to wear the thin blue line badge on their uniforms, hopefully when this is sanded and laquered they can display it in the canteen as a mark of respect/rememberance.

Both of these are from an Idea by my Granddaughter, Christmas is cut from 3mm ply with an mdf base and trick backing is cut from mdf. both glued and painted by little miss mischief.
