Me and pattern making are like chalk and cheese, we don't go well together, so I didn't bother, I just cut the picture and visually avoided islands as I was cutting, what do you think. (not cleaned or sanded yet).

First of all an apology to the pattern maker 'Roly' I forgot to take a photograph of the completed full dog, fortunately the same lady also wanted a head shot, here it is, with a big thanks to Roly (phantomscroller).

The end of a very busy day at Green Towers craft fair, the pictures only show a small part of it, the place is huge, sold well but no time to make more so will have to run with what I've got tomorrow and hope its enough, early to bed tonight I think.

managed to get a late booking at quite a large craft fair tomorrow (Friday) thanks to a cancellation. there's all sorts going on there, not just crafts but a fashion show, flower show, folk dancing, circus skills, police displays, fire fighter displays plus other smaller displays and a kids entertainment area, bit of a rush to get things ready at short notice but its one of the biggest shows I've done and I cannot wait. (hope I have enough stock).

Congratulations, I'm sure that with your talent whatever you make will be amazing, lots of people buy gifts with name, weight, date, time, ect on them, one made by granddad would be treasured.

Did one of these a few months ago, the same buyer called again and asked for another, she had obviously told a friend and I got another call a few hours later asking for another, unfortunately I had already started so no chance of stack cutting, then blow me down, no sooner had I started the second one I got another call for a third one, so again, no chance of stack cutting, just my luck...

I use a site called stallfinder and scroll through for suitable venues.

They are quite good Nick, I love the distressed wood backing on the first one, my first attempt became firewood, good luck in Bridlington.
