  1. What?? I have a pedal from Hegner... does not do this... do you have a site where I can read about it... I am not in Europe.. maybe that is why I don't know about it..
  2. Really well done and a nice gift.
  3. Beautiful picture and frame... Thanks for the how to video... interesting
  4. Liking that! well done..
  5. Very peaceful scene, well cut.
  6. Making the arm on a Hegner raise higher is an easy modification that a few of us here have done.. Yes, @Rolf, now that you mention the name... it was Hans that passed. He was a great person to talk with,,,,even in english..
  7. I guess I lucked out and purchased (one of their demo models) that was the perfect saw.. Makes me kind of wonder....
  8. Would we remember what we are talking about, whose machine is whose, where the blade goes....??
  9. You are right, Les, It is great.... I visit and communicate with three... Always a great time... but I have also run into scrollers that shy away or just aren't interested in meet and greets... Very disappointing. Especially being I live in an area where scrollers are few and far between... My closest scrolling friends are 40 miles away.... well worth the short travel to get together...
  10. No then,,,, it was one of the other techs.... One, very, very helpful one,,,passed sometime in the last year or so... I know I talked to him a lot when I got my Hegner...
  11. Wolfgang is not the gentleman that passed away a year or so ago??
  12. Well done,,,, I like the bark edges with pictures...
  13. I really think the only reason that saw is not more popular, is the belt changing.... Most people get turned off by that.. I would love to have one of them... Belt changing never bothered me... I had a Nova that speed changes were belts.... Loved it... Quick easy and no expensive repairs........
  14. Really like the family one.... some one has their feet planted under the roots... Great job on the dragon also!!
  15. Great job!! I know one thing about those hairy beasts...... they are good to eat!!!
  16. Well, I love my Hegner... but I understand it is not the right saw for everyone.... I also like old cars and trucks.... building wooden boats and that sort of thing... so Not for everyone... I think the SP saw is in the same catagory,,,, not all the new features, but reliable, built to last and great customer service... Not all the conveniences of some of them more modern saws,,,,, tilting head,,, top feeding... but it fits this old man and I know it will be with me as long as I am scrolling..
  17. Thanks, Les.... Guess I would have to try it... I don't understand how it is easier to put the blade into a hole, that you can't see, in the bottom of a barrel clamp than sliding it into a slot in the Hegner clamp that you can see...? Not saying it is not easier,,,I just can't understand how it is... No matter, we all have our preferences.
  18. Les,, I guess I don't understand why you feel the barrel clamps are better for the Hegner.. What are their advantages?
  19. I like simple, easy to repair, durability, precision, good customer support...... Hegner!
  20. Very nice "stuff". I especially like your ornaments... Got to look for those patterns..
  21. That is some great scrolling.... ! Very professional finishing finishing and framing also...
  22. Okay, I'm thinking that is a lot better than the one I did.... Great job.
  23. Wouldn't you love to drive around in that beauty.... Nice cutting..
  24. I think you did great..... I only hope I can do nearly as well...
  25. Yep, trust me table saws are perfectly safe.... Ray is correct though,,, they are safe, if you follow safe procedures and do not take shortcuts....and have a splitter....raving knife even better..
