  1. Jeff, that is absolutely beautiful! I love the ships also. Wasn't going to buy any more patterns this year, but,,, I love that. There I go thinking about breaking one of my new year's resolutions before I even get to the new year!! Super cutting!
  2. I think mine are slightly below, unless I am cutting something real fragile and get tense. Then I think my shoulders are up over my ears and my elbow are as high as my shoulders should normally be!!
  3. I'm always glad to welcome a new Aussie mate. Do you happen to know Peter Crowie, I know Australia is pretty big but he is a wood worker and likes to make toys. Anyway, very glad too have you join us, and I look forward to seeing some pictures of your toys.
  4. You are no novice to the scroll saw. That looks to be done by a seasoned scroller......! Great work.
  5. A lot of power tools need some tuning once they are set up. My band saw, table saw and planner did. Not really a quality control issue. I hope I am correct on this......
  6. I'm not talented enough to be allowed one of those carving tools. I would like the little air compresser, only 56 dB! You should have a lot of fun with those presents. Hope you show what you make with it.
  7. You really did a great job on that. What is the beautiful wood you used and how did you do the lettering on the names and dates?
  8. When a person bought an Excaliber from Seyco, it came all tuned up, least mine did. The Kings and the now Excaliburs come from the factory, without going through Seyco to be tuned. I would suspect there is tuning required, such a getting the motor turned to the most optimal position, blade lined up 90' to the table and centered to the hole.... etc.
  9. I agree 100% .........with John!
  10. Very well done.

    Howdy!

Welcome to the Village. Always glad to have people move into the neighborhood.
  12. Finished my last two Christmas projects today. All I have left to do on them is sand off the 2018 date on the back and make 2019! Both are Steve Good patterns, the dark wood is Mahogany, the light wood on the Merry Christmas one, I do not know. Came from Ocooch Hardwoods. On the Happy Holidays one it is 1/8" BB
  13. Looks like you did a nice job cutting that. 1/8" thick can be hard to control the cut. Try stack cutting two or three 1/8" pieces and I think you will find it easier.
  14. You are being mighty hard on yourself, I see very nice looking results, that I am sure are greatly appreciated. Nice job.
  15. That is great. It would be real fun to belong to a club that does things like that.
  16. Don't you love it when you and the dogs have to stay home and guard the place? I always volunteer! Very nice projects.
  17. I have the Bosch like in your first link. I have had it mounted in my router table for quite a few years. Never have had any problems with it. It takes both 1/2" and 1/4" bits. Like JTTHECLOCKMAN, I have an old Craftsman to do dirty work with. I use it about once every 3 or 4 years.
  18. Thank you for sharing. Beautiful.
  19. You certainly did a great job of that!
  20. Well cut!
  21. You really did a wonderful job on that. It is beautiful.

  23. That is a great sign. Nice work.
  24. Superb cutting and painting. Really a beautiful piece.
  25. That looks great and lots of very find scrolling. Awesome job. I think before you close the Hanger doors you should do a Stearman. What most to war bird pilots trained in. I have a pattern for one that Heppnerguy (Dick) made for me. I'm going to cut it and send it to the guy that took me for a hop in his this past summer.
