  1. Nice one!
  2. Another very nicely done one.
  3. Well, you are really putting the "repurposed" flooring to good use. Very well done.
  4. Very well done.
  5. Great job. Well cut and displayed.
  6. Great looking picture. Well cut.
  7. That is an awesome picture, Dick. Your really did a great job cutting it.
  8. Also if you are doing a special project and grain is important, you have better chance getting what you want out of a 5' x 5' piece... And you can buy a "wood welder" You get them through Woodrite. Seriously search wood welder and check it out. Coarse they do not weld wood,,,,
  9. You are correct I missed that. Alex Fox has/had this jeep as a free pattern. I did it with my Grandson. I could not find any of his free patterns at his Etsy site but you could message him and ask him if it is still available. It was an easy cut and you watch his video to put it together.
  10. Have you looked at the free patterns here. Go to pattern library and look at the "Transportation" category, all kinds of patterns of car of all types.
  11. Probably cut at the manufacturer and they us metric system(?). So it would be off a little.
  12. I do fretwork and bottom feeding is just fine! So does Charles Dearing. Never heard about Hegner not being good for fretwork because of the motor. I do fretwork on one also. I doubt I do enough to worry about the motor in my lifetime, I also have a Seyco I do about equal amount on each.
  13. Nice space. And lots of room for wood storage under the bench! You are going to need to make a blade holder to hold all the different blades you will be collecting. A spray booth for finishing, a little compressor for blowing things off, a sanding area and a sander with some sanding mops..... etc., etc. Your husband may as well start planning on a expansion of his shop!
  14. You might do some searching on Youtube also. Maybe someone has fixed this problem.. and videoed it.
  15. I've experience it a few times with FD. blades. I figure it is bound to happen once in a while. I will also get FD blades once in a while that are real dirty. Oily grit on the ends. I have a habit of cleaning the ends of my blades with alcohol before putting them on the saw. Part of the cleaning is because I sharpen the top end of each blade on the grinder before hand also.
  16. Ever watch American Pickers (I think that is the name) where the guys go buy antiques and oddities to resale....? They "bundle" to get a good deal. Maybe you could offer to buy the Hegner and the Razertip together for like $65 as a "bundle".
  17. Jeff, just copy the address and paste it in your post' https://www.scrollsawartist.com/chess-set-with-compound-cut-3d-chess-pieces.html
  18. Pretty neat. Are you going to attach a little light in the back so light shines through the stars?
  19. Is that insert metal or plastic? Is the table rusted... Maybe a picture would help some. Spray it withe some lubricant might help loosen it up. Check Youtube, when I have a problem with a piece of equipment I go to Youtube first...
  20. That is awesome!
  21. Very clever, and very well done!
  22. Oh, oh,,, ah Grizz, friend..... we need to stick together.
  23. The closest I do to TV is Netflix. I have not sat and watched a TV program on TV for many years. But not important, what is important, if your wife wants to paint, give her all the encouragement you can. WOW. I would love to have talent to paint. Only problem with painting, she can get into it fairly cheaply.... Now quilting costs a bunch.. My wife's two sewing machines cost more than all the tool I own. What more could you ask for. I can buy what I want for scrolling and she dare not say a thing... coarse she has more money than I dooooooo! Life is not really fair is it? It's that whats hers is hers, whats mine is hers.. I pay for most the house hold expenses,,, and what pennies left over can go to my scrolling. She pays for,,,,,, her quilting. Oh my, if she ever see this thread, I am DEAD MEAT!!!!!
  24. Oh, those retreat things are nice.... 2 or 3 days, just me and the dogs! She has one coming up..... life is good....
  25. And, how many hours a year do you sit in the car, while they are going into one more quilt store!!?? Me and the dogs wait...... Ahh, but you gotta love them.... we promised! Will look at this, I hijacked my own thread!!
