  1. Glad for you Iggy.
  2. Congrats! That is a great deal.
  3. You are saying the Excelsior and the King are the same saws? i did not know that. If the King is as good as the ex-Excalibur and it sell for the price that low, will that is great! I hope so much it is. It will be a terrific saw at a terrific price. Only thing missing would be Customer Service for problems. I wish, maybe, Seyco would have waited and become the distributor for it. Don't suppose they would now that they have their own saw.
  4. That is a cool one.
  5. Nice job. Glad up are able to work at it again. Just don't rush it. Take your time.
  6. Really cute. Bet that would be a great seller.
  7. Iggy, wish we lived close, I let you try my Seyco. I think the "Excalibur" level of saw, Seyco or Excelsior 21, etc., maybe the King (I still have reservation on that one, but, I could be wrong) are better, longer lasting saws than the DeWalt. You tried a Hawk, and I am sorry it didn't work out, but to go back to wearing out DeWalts, dealing with there weak service centers, and all that hassle, seems counter productive to me. Not criticizing the DeWalt, I owned one, but I went to Excalibur and the like (now Seyco) and you would not get me back to a DeWalt. I got to say, the DeWalt followers are loyal, no matter how many times they have to return it, wait x number of weeks to get sorta fixed or a replacement, they think they are being treated great..... Okay no one likes me anymore. Sorry if I stepped on toes, but it does amaze how loyal the DeWalt owners are. I like to hear from an Ex type owner that went back to a DeWalt.... There may be some that I do not know about. Just my opinion,,, not worth much, but if I was in a business, depending on a scroll saw........ just saying.
  8. Maybe something like this? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000UZ0P7I?aaxitk=4G8VFI8pvVg1MdYKQ7GevA

  14. WOW! Really nice.
  15. Great piece.
  16. Really a nice setup. I am finally learning, way to late in my life, that the more dust collection you have the enjoyable it is working in the shop.
  17. Very well done piece of art
  18. Okay! I thought you were "Superman Stack Cutter" Does not change the fact that is a great piece.
  19. Are you serious, "stack cut a dozen"? Best I have done is 3! Great picture. Love it.
  20. There was quite a discussion on this forum a while back about them. Lot of people like the "modified geometry". I purchase a sample pack and tried different sizes, but for the type of work I am doing they were just too aggressive for me. I do like their double tooth blades though. Here is one of the discussion threads, there were others also.
  21. Well I like your suggestion also, I forgot and I did do that. I will also follow the same routines on my Seyco.
  22. Pretty much said in my manual when I had it, to keep it clean, brush it off once and a while and use it. My manual said it had sealed bearings no maintenance to do there, I do not know if you can add grease to sealed bearings. I don not know much about bearings. I did, (not mentioned in the manual maintenance section) every so often remove the clamp thumb screws, remove the tip, clean it and make sure it could turn pretty easily, clean the threads on the thumbscrew and in the clamp (pipe cleaner works) and add a small dab of "anti-seize" the threads of the thumbscrews... both top and bottom ones. Remember you are screwing a steel screw into aluminum. That needs care. Wax the table top once and a while. Check for loose bolts, screws and nuts. That is about it.
  23. CRAZY COOL!!!
  24. Will not be long, Iggy until you have to hire some scrollers here to make puzzles for you to keep up! It is a good thing.
