  1. Oh, when I first started seriously scrolling, I did. Wanted to keep track of time on a project. Too much stress,,, I lasted 1 1/2 projects.. then forgot about it. I think if I was doing it more for a business, I will keep track of things, but as a hobby, no. I do pretty much keep a picture of everything I have built or scrolled.
  2. Here is hoping Iggy. You are a very patient man.
  3. Now if you put a small box in the front of the saw sitting on the tray, it will catch most the sawdust and small pieces. Then you can easily empty the box when you want. I use empty cigar boxes on mine.
  4. Glad to have you join us. What kind of "machine" did you purchase? Hope you enjoy your stay here.
  5. That is a super one. Words of wisdom.
  6. Doing a fine job. I'm with Meflick, lettering does not allow mistakes...
  7. Good job. Hope they are making progress on the wild fires.
  8. Really a nice job.

  11. DW, Looking again at you great idea. I'm thinking you make up a few and go sit in a coffee shop like Starbucks, you would become a very popular man. You could make a couple different sizes to fit the sizes of cups they sell. Coarse someone would pick it up start having them punched out in different colors of plastic and make a fortune off your idea!
  12. Okay!! Very clever!
  13. Well, don't they have a different power in the UK? So it has to come from over there. And, there are two types of foot switches, "dead man" and the "press on, press off". I think most, but not all use the "dead man" type. I got a Treadlite II with my Hegner. I like it the best of all the foot switches I have used. I didn't think I would, it is smaller in size than the others I have owned, but I do like it best. I do not know if you can get them for your voltage. Might be worth checking though.
  14. I think you need to show your face, you do not sound anything like Barney! Nice video.
  15. The word "Beautiful" keeps popping up in one form or another. It certainly fits. The is also very unique and well done. The recipients will treasure that.
  16. Great job!
  17. Yep, and now you can enjoy working on it with no worries about legal things. May bring you more work also,
  18. Good job by your son.
  19. Oh, please not puppies... I really want a second dog.. I look at puppies on the internet almost daily. My wife says NO. Nice job on the pattern and the cutting.
  20. Good cutting. My father in law was a "Lineman for the County".
  21. Rolf, referring to "expensive" in my post above, I was meaning it in relation to the HEPA filters. $128 for one. I'm sure they are just as expensive or more for the Festool. I have a HEPA on my Rigid shop vac. It is a big round filter and it was no where near that expensive.
  22. There are various places that sell a variety pack of blades. When I purchased two different saws, they came with such packs. I use the blades to get me familiar with the sizes for different woods. Then I started purchasing blades in the sizes I used most, but I purchased better blades, like Flying Dutchman, some like Olsen blades more. I've been scrolling for several year, and I am still trying different sizes and types for different things. Recently I tried Pegas blades and I really like their double tooth blades. I guess the point is, in my opinion, start experimenting. Purchase a small variety and add to that as you gain experience. As you get into it you will be purchasing your favorite blades by the gross.
  23. Really pops! Great job.
