  1. Send me $25 and I will see if I can fix it for you..... Just kidding, Travis can fix it.
  2. Also, the fact that you want to turn the screw tighter, makes me concerned that you may have spread the clamp apart by over tightening. Not sure how you check that, but it happens.
  3. Nice pattern and cutting!
  4. Well me and my big mouth!! What choice do I have? It is a pleasure, Travis. Thank you for the great site.
  5. Beautiful plaque!
  6. When I first got my Hegner I broke blades. I found out reading the instructions that the top clamp should be able to move a little in it's holder, ie, do not have that thumb screw screwed tight, it should let the clamp move a little. That cured my blade braking problem on the Hegner.
  7. great job!
  8. very cool!
  9. Congrats, but there wasn't any doubt it would well received.
  10. Yep, one of the best parts of wood working is visiting wood worker another. I always learn to much, and it seem to always inspire me to clean up my shop.
  11. You are ahead of me, I still haven't cut that quilt plaque yet. Very nice work, Kevin.. Do not over do. Pace yourself.
  12. That is a nice looking bowl. Where did the pattern come from?
  13. Iggy, congrats on a good looking saw. I have always been curious about the Hawks. Never touched one, would like to get the chance to take one for a spin someday. Do not try to compare it to a DeWalt, I know enough to know it is a completely different saw, just like my Hegner is completely different from the Dewalt, Ex and Seyco that I have owned (still own the Seyco). Took me a while to get use to it, now I love it. It is a saw I will not part with. I'm sure you will gain the same respect for your Hawk.
  14. Very nice cut and pattern!
  15. Great work, Pete. Great choice of woods.
  16. Ha. Good question, I don't know the answer. I have never thought about it.
  17. They certainly do look nice.
  18. Glad to have you join us. Looking forward to see some of your scroll work. Semper Fi
  19. Very exciting Iggy, I think I get just as excited reading about someone else getting a new saw as I do when I have one coming....well maybe not quite as excited, but almost. I'm very anxious to read your review/thoughts on it when you get it up and running and have time.
  20. I use what I call poster board. I get it at Walmart or about any similar store or some kind, Hobby Lobby, Michael's, etc. It is like 3' x 3' sheets. Comes in variety of colors.
  21. http://woodyoubelieveshop.blogspot.com/ his name is Kyle Sheffer
  22. WOW! That is really nice.
  23. I just logged in and it all looked the same to me. I must be a very low resource user, only use around 8 percent of what I have available. Maybe they just haven't got to me yet.
  24. You certainly can. In the one I posted about the front and back arches were stack cut. Could have stack cut more if I had wanted more than one complete unit.
  25. I use 1/8" Baltic Birch.
