  1. I hear you Hotshot, but I wish it didn't wear off quite so fast. My Ex was scratched and warn very quickly. Didn't hurt the scrolling, but I would have liked it to look nice. The magnetic mat on the Seyco is a good idea, however, I and I think Doug also, find it is not as slick as we would like and waxing does not seem to help. I may remove my mat after it gets a little more worn. I also found out last evening that my brother-in-law and Nephew have the tools and knowledge to make me a new table if I desire, one without the extra big hole that the Seyco has. All I have to do is buy the piece of steel plate.
  2. that well work. it is what i use.
  3. I use flat black poster paper most the time.
  4. Totally agree with all. That is very well done and I love the picture. That would be a "must do" pattern.
  5. Okay, thanks guys, no more clearing the nozzle by turning the can upside down. I just naturally do it, hope I can break the habit and save some juice.
  6. Very nice!
  7. Oh, my that is so well done! I purchased that pattern last year. Makes me want to dig it out and give it a try.
  8. Congratulations! You be a brave man!! I'm anxious to see how you like it. There are usually quite a few Hawks for sell within a couple hundred miles of me. I have thought I would like one and no reason a person should not have three saws. The only advantages I understand to the newest models are the top feed option, don't care about that I'm a bottom feeder, and the back and forth movement adjustment. I think that is a good/nice option to have, but there has been a lot of fine cutting done with Hawks without it. The most important thing to me is that it is new enough to have the tension release up front on the upper arm. The older models are dropping in price do to the upgrades on the new models. I figure if I keep looking I will see one I cannot resist. Come real close a couple times lately. If I can just get my wife to leave town for a couple weeks....... yep!
  9. Do it. I want to read your review.
  10. Some use glue sticks. I don't but I have read about it.

    Well done.
  12. Thread chaser, maybe. I sorta checked what it would cost for someone in the US to buy the part and ship it to you. The part looks to be around $15 American. shipping around $6 American to my house and around (guessing) $15 to you. Makes it around $35+ part. Not as bad as your est of $50 for just shipping but still makes it an expensive part. Last time I shipped something to Australia it took 5 weeks to get there. Say a week plus to get to me. So it could be 6 to 7 plus weeks for you to get it. But it is a possibility. Also I could be way off of what it would really cost. But an option.
  13. Great work. Looks very nice. I love to make things for the grandkids.
  14. Great work. I've done the Eagle. Real fun to build and paint.
  15. WOW! Nice work for sure. Boxes like that are a little more than just fret work. They have to fit together after the fret work is done also. Great job.
  16. Very pretty! I'd love to see details
  17. That is a real nice piece. I always love the look of finished oak.

  24. That is a new one for sure, however makes me want one even more. Built by farmers, it will last forever. My dad's side of the family were farmers, I use to love to go work on their farms in the summer.
  25. Really a beautiful piece. The coloring really steps it up a notch.
