  1. I see you have decided on what to so and it sounds great. I will lately suggest the bookmarks with "Hugs" scrolled in and filled. My thinking is it will be a while until they really need a key chain but a book mark is good for when they get into reading more in the near future. May also encourage them to read. Visited my Kindergarten age grand child on Easter, and he had show me how he was learning to read! In Kindergarten.... I just learned it wasn't cool to suck my thumb! Now they are learning real stuff.
  2. Very unusual pattern, turned out beautiful. I have to ask, what do you mean by "shred a guitar"? Is that when the performer breaks up there guitar at the end of a song? You talk about not having the gift, my son has practiced for years, sometimes hours a day. He has a travel guitar he takes with him everywhere, all over the world and practices. At almost 50 he still takes lessons when he can. His instructor tells him he just does not have a musical gift, gets that from me, but it does not discourage him, he keeps at it. He can play, but it certainly does not come natural. More mechanical. No matter to him he just keep on trying. I have great respect for him for doing it.
  3. I really like this. Nice wood to use and looks very rich. The mending of the break should be fixable. CA glue from the back maybe or the fix Rob suggested.
  4. Some beautiful work.
  5. Very well done.
  6. Going to be one of your friend's most cherished. Well done.
  7. That is some very fine cutting. "Fine" as in delicate and "fine" as in awesome looking. Go back to wood if you want, but do not quite the metal cutting. Love seeing it.
  8. Looks just like Patsy. Makes me "Crazy". Great job.
  9. That is why I like the little smiley faces things, what are they called, "emotioncons" or some silly name. It is the only way I see to put emotion with words to help let the readers know your intent. To me it is sad, people get offended so easily not days, I like to get true, helpful criticism on my work, but I think most are afraid to give it for fear of offending.
  10. Like them both, good scrolling.
  11. She did a great job on those. I really miss the good old westerns they use to have on TV.
  12. Very nice box. Well done.
  13. First time I went thorough the posts I skipped this because I am not a "Kiss" fan at all. Came back and decided to look, I always enjoy seeing what you are up to regardless of the subject. Glad I did. Very nice cutting.
  14. So very impressive! You are the master of coin.
  15. Congratulations! That is really something to be very proud of.
  16. They are very nice. What kind of band saw blade do you use, i.e., number teeth per inch and width?
  17. No doubt she will like that picture. Great job.
  18. Dick, hope you have a safe and fun trip, but do not look at houses!!! We head for Portland tomorrow... Monday to Lincoln City for four days. For those that do not know Lincoln City, is on the Oregon Coast. The most beautiful coast line in the U.S. Yes that is right... Huh Dick. Be eating clam chowder on Monday, and not that East Coast red thin Clam Chowder, but thick yummy creamy west coast clam chowder..... Oh I so need this time at the beach..... Me and Abbey (standard poodle) will be walking on the beach, listening to the waves, feeling the breeze, smelling the ocean, in the rain, oh well, suppose to rain all week....... with all that rain, my poor saws will be rusty. Kevin, Arizona sucks.... Heppner, Ore. is beautiful.....
  19. I love the look of you signs. Very professional. Great job on the horses also.
  20. Of course I do! I have a stack of 4 pictures, pattern attached to the wood and ready to meet the saw, I am ready to sand parts and start assembling a wooden gear clock, sitting on my second saw is a 1/2 completed "Time Keeper" dragon that will not be a time keeper but instead of a clock will be holding a magic glass ball, I hope, I just received, yesterday a beautiful pattern on "The Last Supper", ordered the wood for it today, which my son requested, and after seeing the pattern, my wife "ordered" one also, she doesn't pay very well, my son bought me an M1A rifle and an FNS 9mm pistol, how could I refuse him...? And I am loving every minute of it.
  21. Well done! I like the wood choices and the font you used. Great stuff.
  22. Nice job. Looks like a big Rhode Island Red Rooster. When we had chickens that was our choice. I miss my Chickens.
  23. Nice job. Glad you are feeling better.
  24. You did an outstanding job. That is an unique name for a boat.
