  1. I like it. My wife has a "quilting room". maybe a plaque like that, with something related to quilting in the middle would fit the bill.
  2. When I spent some time with a nephew in my shop, it was about this time of year. He wanted to make something for his Mom for Mother's Day. I helped him make a simple Mother's day plaque, I think the pattern came from Steve Good said "World's Greatest Mom". Might show them something similar just to give them ideas for mother's day. I'd take samples of simple to more difficult to display. Maybe they will go home and talk Dad into getting a scroll saw....
  3. My local Michael's sell it in 12" x 12" pieces. Little more than Ocooch but when you add shipping, it is cheaper. There are also several lumberyards that carry it in sheet locally. Home Depot and Lowe's do not.
  4. I join all of the above Hans, Was hoping to better news but we have to deal with what is given us. You have a lot of backing here, thoughts and prayers. I have several friends that have been in you shoes, it wasn't pleasant, but they fought the fight, recovered and are back in the game. Please keep us informed.
  5. This is all too deep for me, I'm going back to the shop...
  6. That is really nice. Is that pattern available from some where? I have not see it before.
  7. Those are really nice. Love the hibiscus flower. Really takes it up a notch.
  8. I really like your work and you painting is spot on. Very nice. Like DukeNukem, I would like to be able to airbrush.
  9. Very nice work.
  10. Those are up to par with all you great records. I hope you get more orders, I like to look at them.
  11. Oh, Matt, so glad you are posting your progress. I will follow this for sure. I want to do a clock, I want to do a clock. Please keep the updates coming.
  12. They are great. I especially like 2,3 & 4. I #2 looks like a shrine I got to see in Japan, Not sure, the one I went to see was gold and so beautiful. You did a great cutting of that pattern. I did #3, like yours better, beautiful cutting and what a beautiful piece of wood. #4 is one I want to do soon.
  13. Good idea, the one pause in the video was caused by me forgetting to tighten the allen screw on the drive gear.
  14. Congratulations to you and Russell. That is really a nice plaque. I agree it is a great saying.
  15. Have a Hegner but do not use their bracket. You could call Advance Machinery and ask. They should know.
  16. Well, ah, you could do it in the bath tub with the shower curtain closed and the exhaust fan running... Just kidding. I'm a basement worker also.
  17. Got the second "Bot" off and running...well walking. This one for some reason was more difficult to assemble. Didn't seem like the instructions were quite as clear, at least to me. But with a day of tinkering with it I got it together and going. This is so much fun!
  18. Very nice work!
  19. Well there you go, I picked up the ornamental trim for my hand crank organ at aisle 6, Home Depot...
  20. Cool picture. Nice cutting.
  21. Congrats, I have a nice 14" with a riser block on it for resawing, but I would love to have one of these smaller bandsaws also. It would be great for things a little too big for the scroll saw, but not so big that I want to change the blade on the 14" to do. I hate changing blades on a band saw. I find myself looking for other ways of cutting things so I don't have to mess with changing the blade on the band saw.
  22. Another beauty. I really love your boxes.
  23. Humm Humm Humm, Ha Ha Ha, would not surprise me one bit. It's all about the tax revenue....
  24. Okay Dick, slow down! Very nice. Heck I could have had that do in,,,,,2-3 days. "I am slow, therefore I am". I am on my second day of trying to assemble the second robot. It is kicking my &^*! But got it figured out now, should finish tomorrow.
  25. I love that kind of painting. What a great team you guys make. Did you carve that trim? If so, i am in awe!
