I have never done it so I have to ask, what made it so hard? Those are very unique and clever... I could see women liking them for the uniqueness and seasonal celebration. You know,,, maybe I could pierce my ear and wear one... At my age you can get buy with almost anything..That is the only thing I have found good about getting old! Anymore when I tell my kid about something I have done or thinking of doing... they just roll their eyes and bring up the thing about a home to put me in.

the manual suggests tension spring broke. but any one of these suggestions is a possibility. That tension system is very similar to the Hegners.

Sylvia, sorry I can't help. But I do want to welcome you to the Village. There are a couple Wen owners on here. They maybe able to help. I have not even seen a Wen saw yet, except for pictures. Looks like you would have to take the cover off the back to see if anything is loose or broken. do you have manual? If not here is an online one. Page 20 is am exploded view to give you an idea of what makes up the tension. @Dak0ta52, Maybe you have a suggestion.

I also have both and I I use the mac mops about 90% of the time. I just like them more. Both do a good job.. I also agree with this description of the grits. I use 180 most the time.

That is pretty darn Cool. The only other person I know that has something comparable to that is @munzieb with all his neat cars and planes pictures. All my pictures sit in a box waiting for the big bonfire the kid are planing to have when I an gone..

Great job! I wish I had done that with the dogs I have had. I have a burial plot with all the dog, cats sheep and goats buried it. May I suggest, is you know it on future one add the born and past dates of their lives..

Got another question.. My compressor I have been using works fine for bursts of air like for a small nailer but not so good to air brush,,, small tank.. How long would one expect a say 5 gallon air tank last for air brushing? Been thinking of going that way as opposed to purchasing a third compressor.

At my age, with the beard and the amount of hair that grows out my nose,, I have good filtration!

Okay,, after all these responses I want to know recommendations on an air brush and compressor to buy... I tried the cheapest.. and they were good enough to let me know I may get some great use out of a better air brush. BUT, I am not an artist that is going to paint beautiful pictures, I am going to paint pieces and parts of scroll saw pictures. And I am not rich. My kids thought are doing well, very well, but I am not rich and they are stingy,(just kidding, but I drive a car with 160K on it and need a new house, are they going to make me beg!!!, again just kidding, my kids have alway been very close, even though they have always lived far away. ( just threw that sentence in there because I am in a whiny mood, three, okay five, glasses of wine does that,, get it whiny/wine?) So what is recommended for a guy like me. Gravity fed, suction out of a jar. compressor with a tank or one that runs while you are spraying, double action or single. I will probably use acrylic paint most, easier cleaning? I still do not know every thing I need to know. Any real recommendations?

Been talk in here recently about 3D scrolling.. It is one of the many types of cutting I love to do with a scroll saw. In fact I am getting ready to start another project that requires 3D cutting. I haven't done it for some time so I went to Youtube some refreshing... This is a good video... it includes ways to do 3D cutting, ways do make patterns, and at the end gives some great tips for new scrollers. Just wanted to post it for any one interested.

I was not happy with my first segmented Jazz Player picture so I redid it. No missing pieces and actually more detail in this one. I am happy with this it so I have started a companion one to go with it,, another Jazz player character. The black in this picture I did with the air brush using acrylic hobby paint. All the white pieces are brush painted. Not good enough to air brush small pieces, without blowing them away. I will figure that out.

Those are real nice. I enjoy 3D cutting, it always surprises me when you remove the waste and there is what you wanted. Great use of small pieces of waste wood also.

Cannot exchange it my HF does not carry then anymore.
