  1. I have an EX -21 and love it. Hoping you get your issues cleaned up. I have learned that quality saw come with some expense but so much worth the extra effort, I do regular adjustments and things on mine would never look back !
  2. Paul Great job cutting that. I love these things. The wife seen this on Facebook and said she wants it. Guess I'll have to order a few books. I use battery operated LEDs for my lights, there is 20 in a string and it takes 3 AAA batteries. Great job indeed.
  3. I do most of my sanding by hand on the more delicate pieces. I use a ros for the larger more stable pieces. I would think a link to the belts you are referring to would be helpful . Please post your results after testing.
  4. Looks good. What about the sides ?
  5. My wife paints a few things for the different cancer colors. She just uses craft paint and calls it a day. I spray my backers normally flat black and don't use any primer on them.
  6. Nice work and payday for you. Looks great. Happy for you my friend
  7. First I have seen it. Really like it though.
  8. This is on my list of things to cut once I get caught up. Love this pattern.
  9. The wife and I do a lot of shows. I keep my prices the same no matter where we are. There are a lot of people looking for lower priced items, and I have that covered in the $5 and $10 dollar range. I also display pieces that sell for hundreds and many in between. I have always used my time by what I want to make plus 10% for materials etc. The shows that are smaller normally are less money but also higher in custom orders. I will say that most of what we offer is Faith based and many people are so pleased to see it.
  10. I was using CA for projects then switched to Titebond II . Seems to be a stronger bond .
  11. Congrats on the EX. Sorry about your truck trans though :(
  12. Craft shows are a crap shoot. I have been doing them for a few years and tracking things. I call this a live and learn experience. Sort of sucks but the lesson learned is invaluable. And yes I still go through the learning progress. Just a lot less then earlier days. I have found talking to other crafters helps.
  13. I stack cut 5 at a time. I do sand the bottom layer with minimal fuzzies. I use FD-UR #5 for this.
  14. Nice looking work. Keep it up
  15. Never seen that one. How long is it? Maybe from a coping saw ? Love history lessons
  16. I switch between flat and spiral depending on the job at hand. Looking forward to the photos. I have confidence they will be great
  17. Diamond in the rough. Looking forward to seeing it all cleaned up and in use . Congrats on the great find.
  18. I have an EX-21 and swear by it. Love the saw. You would be giving up 4 inches since the DW is 20 and the Ex is 16. If they are willing, I would go with the EX in the blink of eye, Keep us posted please.
  19. Stu I have the Ridgid Planer. I ordered my replacement knives off Amazon for around $30. Might want to see if you can find yours up there.
  20. Nice pens . I turn but most furniture parts, never got into pens. Keep up the great work, think of it as an addition to scrolling
  21. Kevin hang tough. Things are starting to come together. Everything takes time. Been there and done that. Actually still do. It will all come together.
