  1. I really like the weed whacker- for small scale summer-fallow! That is one more reason I do NOT play pasture pool! Nice work all the way around.
  2. This will make someone happy. A nice example of great work, on the pattern maker and the cutter both.
  3. Very well done. Now you will end up doing more of them, I think.
  4. A.K.-- We have all learned the hard way-- the only people that realize how much work something is, are the people that can actually DO IT! Next time just send them to a craft store- to see what canvas frames really cost. And then you look them up on line and ask for 2/3 of the same cost. You still did a nice job. I thought that straight cuts were against your religion though?
  5. Very neat!

    Stand -Off

Used up some more scrap from shop piles. Drew the pattern to fit the wood. Pine 1 by 6 used. Dragons are 5-1/2 inches tall and 11-1/2 inches long. The red eyes are Dollar Tree again. Pattern is from rjR. Just lightly torched and then a quick coat of water based top coat applied with a brush. I will probably make more of different sizes and poses too. Anyone wanting the pattern, I will be scanning it and save as a few different file types; so I will happily share.
  7. A. You used my favorite wood = FREE B. You used an interesting pattern C. You did a great job D. Means I have to grade that as a A
  8. Well Dick-- they covered it! Your usual fantastic job.
  9. Need that to help the shop visitors identify the tool! Nicely cut.

    Notes

A neat idea that many of us are going to borrow!
  11. Well cut . I also have an 18" P.C. and like it as well as I did the DW 788 that gave up on me.
  12. I like the look on it's face. All BADATTUDE. Well done.
  13. Most of us have had adventures with letter cutting that did NOT turn out 1/4 that nice! Good work!
  14. As we are dragon - on; Great cutting! I may do some of them too just for the heck of it. My dragons are your fault; I liked yours so well I had to try to draw some too.
  15. Have to agree 100% with all of the comments= FANTASTIC!

    Beer

Neat work. I hope that is a good NW beer in that mug!
  17. Both nice; but, like the darker framed one better.
  18. A. K. being A. K. AGAIN! Usual great work. Now for Ron-- Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada-- to Florida that is a hell of a commute!
  19. This is jbrowning and orangeman's fault. Between the dragon and the enhanced buffalo; I decided to combine the ideas. I drew the pattern and as usual the saw decided to make some changes, usually it has a better idea than I had, so I let it do it. The size I made will fit on a 6 by 7 inch board. I had the Dollar Tree blue sparkle things --so decided to try them as a dragon eye. Made from generic(pine/--?? board) 3/4 stock and I cut a template at the same time. I tried to get the scanner to scan to card, without any cooperation at all from it. So I took a picture then managed to get it saved as a word.doc. Happily share by email as an attachment. If usable from the pictures I have here GREAT! Enjoy and share pictures of results, Please. As usual comments and IDEAS always welcome.
  20. You do not have to get too much life from it to be alright on that deal!
  21. I like the buffalo well. I do think just a drilled hole of about that size for an eye would look even better. Try one and see if you like it that way. Do what they are willing to buy though!

    Dragons

Neat; I may have to try some. I will try to do my own design though. Even with a 50/50 chance of the first couple of attempts becoming wod smoke.
  23. Well done.
  24. Lone Star Special!
  25. Practical, innovative, neat and even pretty= GOOD WORK!
