  1. NEAT-- I have always liked the "live-edge" effect! Ihave even "fashioned it" in the past for some projects!
  2. Our friend "Heppner Guy" does sell soem on Facebook, I know NO details of how though! Dick; please clarify. Thank You.
  3. Mine took 4-1/2 years of real abuse and now I have minor issues! I cut many hickory and oak pieces 3/4 and thicker! So I know I over-worked it. I also cut many 2 by 4 toys with it . They are a nice saw and work well! I think you wail enjoy it a lot!
  4. My own design of a rocking alpaca! Made for oldest grand-daughter's sons.

  5. I would give it a try! Use on an expendable or re-sandable unimportant piece first! LET DRY thoroughly! LET DRY thoroughly! YES VERY important. Then see what it turns out like! It may be a very pleasant surprise. I think it will. Also remember that 2 thin coats are better than a heavy saggy one!
  6. We were using my wooden bottle openers over the holidays and my Grand-son-in-law; suggested that I make some of these. They are oak, and the wheels are also. The finish is a light torching then a wipe on to keep the char in place. Wheels are unfinished, but the axles are waxed to keep them turning easily! Pattern is an rjR--- . I did actually lay this out before cutting, usually do NOT on my toy cars. I also cut templates at the time of the original cut! An addition to the comment from original== YES; these are "Bottle tested veterans". I have made enough to cut the opener part without a real pattern! Cut a bit small if in doubt then open wider/ deeper with a file or re-saw it!

  12. A "Thank You " for an Idea that will be modified for a BBQ man we know! Very nice work and I now will have to do the BBQ Champ! one.
  13. Great work-- that 2AM is only 11PM here --so you were not really up so late! Kidding aside GREAT WORK!-- Actually very nice. I get unable to function at anything when I get too tired! You used to party till 5AM-- and change clothes --shower and be to work by 7AM --So what was the problem!

  15. A.K. BEING A.K. AGAIN! Good luck and the saws are repairable-- but F you try to maintain that pace you might NOT BE! Hope you "GETTER' DONE!"

  17. Not a cuckoo clock--JUST a very COOL CLOCK! Very well done. A very unique "WHO WHO " clock!
  18. Just some bottle openers for assorted Christmas presents for son's co-workers. Fun to make. Variety of different "firewood" pieces. The rawhide strap is as much or more work than making them. I have made enough to not even try to use a pattern-- just guesstimate and GO! The product testing can get expensive and seems to make a person sleepy too!
  19. There was something "fishy " about all that work! Great bunch of gifts!
