Ok i think i got it worked out, inkscape beginners forum gave me this, after i change the colors to white (desk top, page ) save as a templete and there is a box to check for making it your default setting, Thx again everyone, RJ I am too old for this knowledge

Ok thx, Wichman I must have a different edition then you, my preferences is under inkscape heading, but went through that process that you have instructed but still all black, Ray, thx for your help also I have done what you have suggested but when i close program and reopen goes to black again, Thx RJ PS I agree with you Paul it a pain in the BUTT, RJ

Good afternoon, I have inkscape 1.2 on my mac laptop. The background and the box where you can print from are black, how do I change them to white. I went in document to change them to white, but when i reopen inkscape they are black again. I have deleted the program and reinstalled it, same thing, Thx RJ

Frank, they look good, I tried making them a lot smaller in size 3 1/2 inches for the tree, but couldn't get the lettering correct so i gave up, RJ

I was looking at the harbor freight Bauer cordless tools, they look good, the only thing that concerns me is that the warranty is 90 days, has anyone had a problem. And i am like Ray, I buy cheap because i will probably go before the tools, RJ
