  17. Looks very good. I have never tried painting scroll work. I may have to try that when i get the shop back up and running.
  18. I always loved collapisable baskets and usually did well at the shows with them.

  21. I found a few pieces of my old stuff the other day and though I would post a few.
  22. I stoped at the mill Tuesday and picked up a few kiln samples. I get these for 75 cents each. Dried to 5-8% moisture and ready for the planer. Didn't have a great choice today but I picked up Red & White Oak, Poplar, Walnut, Pine, Hickory and Ash. The whole lot cost $30.00 or about .32 cents a board foot.

  24. Not sure if they grow in your area but down south we have a plant called Poke. It is covered with dark purple berries that make a great stain. As said before blender, strain and mix with alcohol or mineral spirits. I would sugest pretreament with mineral spirits to help condition the wood.
  25. Great musician and great cutting what more can you ask for. Like Larry b Little wing is probably my favorite. I usually don't like covers but the Coors do a great cover of little wings. If you haven't heard it do your self a favor and youtube it.
