  1. Very nice. Nothing like a personal gift.
  2. At first look very disturbing. After a closer look Very profound statement. I can see these being cut as gifts to someone facing many problems both physical and emotional. Thanks for the pattern and sharing the cutting. Great job on both.
  3. Excelent work. I wish I had the patience to do Intarsia.
  4. Really like them. How about a little information on the prep process?

  9. Very nice work!
  10. Very nice. Great looking pattern. She should love it. It is amazing how that kids take to specially made items. We made name plates for all the grandkids last Christmas, They were a lot more excited over those than the purchased gifts.

  12. Nice lay out. Just make me want to get mine back up and running.
  13. I used an aquarium pump for years. I have a Tetra fin 30 gal that does good for me.
  14. So very true. We have a rule at our house when the kids come. They cant bring their technology, we have a computer if they have homework, we do not have TV, we do have some family friendly movies and cartoons on DVD. When they are at our house they must be kids. Run, Play, explore and have fun the old fashion way. Some of the girls are starting to show interest in sewing so we are buying up cheap sewing machines so they can all sit at the same time and learn. I am afraid they are are all a little young to start in woodworking yet. We have hopes that they will remember the simple times at MaMaw and Paps house.
  15. Wow. This is great. I can't wait till I can retire and have time to do these types of projects.
  16. Looks like a great score. The one lot looks like a turners dream.
  17. Can't complain too much about the temps lately lower to mid 80s F but It has rained every day for the last two weeks. Not enough to really cool things off but enough to raise the humidity to 130%.
  18. I have 9 grand children ages 11-2 7 girls 2 boys.. I am still shocked at some of the things that they come up with at that age. I just shake my head and wonder what happened to being a child.
  19. Ike Do you have the capabilities of having fans blow on the stack? That always helped when I was trying to dry wood. I also had plans for a solar kiln at one time. If I can locate them I will send them to you. Here is the url for the solar kiln. I have been thinking about building one of these next year. http://www.woodmagazine.com/materials-guide/lumber/wood-magazine-solar-kiln/
