I agree with the set screw issue. I love 2/0 blades. it is really my go to blade. I have used a 2/0 in 3/4 thick material before. I also agree with the start up at slow speed and ramp up as you go.
Very nice labels I can see these on special items. I use a program called print master to do my business cards with. I can reduce the same design to fit on the 3/4 x 2 Avery stick on labels for the craft show items..
Bought a stick many years ago, still have most of it left. Only place that I can see any advantage is thick hard wood. It does seem to help with burning but so does a sharp blade and slow feed speed.
I would like to throw in one more thing. I agree with not painting but never use treated lumber for bird houses. The Arsenic in the wood can have some very bad effects on the birds and eggs too.
I agree with the other guys on the pin vise think, I got mine from scroller. I got bits from sloans wood shop http://www.sloanswoodshop.com/drill_bits.htm. I have never had a problem going thru 1 inch material.
Great idea. I saw one once that I am going to do as soon as I get my saw set back up. It was a clock with all the numbers bunched at the botton and the phrase Who Cares across the top. Great work and idea.
Excelent work on all the projects. I would sugest trying the Olson PGT seried of blade on thich oak projects. They always seem to do a better job and last 3 time as long as a regular blade.
Very beautiful work on such a great subject. I have always prefered hard woods over pine but after seeing this I think I may have to reconsider. The grain and the finish are excelent. Thanks for showing.
