  1. Hi guys and gals. I have this piece of wood with the bark around it and not sure what to do with it. It's been in my workshop for a couple of years so I figured I might as well try to make something out of it. It measures 10" high by 7 " wide. I was thinking something religious or some type of portrait. Any ideas. Thanks.
  2. Dave I got some at Amazon. 10 Pack - 20x150mm Pyrex Glass Test Tubes with Rubber Stoppers Sold by: Lake Charles Manufacturing $10.99 How many do you need. I have about 1/2 doz left. I can send you some, no problem and no charge. I think there even cheaper now to.
  3. I have to agree with Bob. A vase would look great with that design on the front of it. Maybe you can enlarge the pattern so you can get the whole design in it. Good luck.
  4. Hi everyone. I have a question for you all. I just read somewhere that you can set up a box fan with a AC filter taped to the back and it will act like a dust collector. Has anyone done this and if so, I'm not sure how that would work. I thought the fan would blow all the dust around unless the fan sucks in and doesn't blow out. Am I missing something here.
  5. Kevin, you always have something hanging over your head. LOL. You really like that glitter. It;s 95 here in Ga. I have an overhead fan that blows over my hear.
  6. Awesome job on that. That outside star effect really brings that piece together. Not sure if I would be able to figure out how to do those angles.
  7. Nice job Cliff on that clock. Pretty good for a beginner.
  8. Denny, I sold about 15 of them just word of mouth for $10.00 each.
  9. I just ordered the lords prayer pattern.
  10. Nice job Denny. I cut a lot of the other bird houses but none standing. I'll have to check her pattern out.
  11. Thanks everyone for the compliments.
  12. Denny, I'm originally from CT.
  13. Kevin, great cutting. I love the lords prayer. Is that your own pattern. Looks like you have some strips holding it all together.
  14. Dave, I just couldn't wait to do it. I 'm going to do the big pattern you sent me to. Not sure what kind of wood I'm going to use yet.
  15. Len, you know I'm not going to put the Red Sox first and send that to my brother. LOL.
  16. Wow Helmut that came out good.
  17. Nice one Denny. That came out great. I have a few things done in red oak and they really pop.
  18. This is a pattern I finished today. I want to thank Dave Monk for doing the pattern for me. I have a twin brother who's a diehard Red Sox fan and of course I'm a Yankee fan. I shrunk Dave's pattern down because his was 13 inches in diameter and I didn't have any wood that size. This one is about 9 inch in diameter made out of B/B. You can't see the blue to good for some reason under the Yankee circle but it is blue. I stacked cut this and made two of them so I can keep one. I will do Dave's pattern down the road when I get some extra wood. Thanks again Dave.
  19. Good luck Kev on those ornaments. I just ordered some #9 and #12 blades. Have to try them out on a couple of compound cuts and see how they do.
  20. Nice John. Im a retired firefighter and that's is great.

  24. Wow, that;s awesome. How did you get the colors like that. Great job. I think any fisherman would love that.
  25. Have some trouble on my DW788 but not on my EC21. I'll have to give that a try Kevin.
