Here's something I just finished for my Granddaughter. Gramps (Paul) was good enough to do the pattern for me. I stacked cut3 of them with 1/8 B/B ply using a #3UR blade. Just going to give it a couple more coats of poly. The knives were a little tricky to do but I gave it my best shot.
  5. Wow Ron, that is awesome. I need to come and visit you and get some tips on some of the work you do.
  6. Ron, those came out great. Beautiful cutting. Love the walnut. Might have to try some of those.
  7. I agree with Richard on the wood type and thickness of wood and size of blade. Easier to stack cut something like that and it will make it easier to control the blade. With those types of cuts you need to slow down a little and let the blade do the work. If I was cutting something like that I would probably stack cut two or three 1/4 inch B/B ply using a # 3 or 5 ur blade. Other than that you did pretty good. Practice makes perfect.
  8. Great job Denny. Can't wait to see the rest of them.
  9. Wow Dick. Great job on that. How did you ever get the carving done, before or after cutting the pattern out.
  10. Just finished this plaque for my granddaughter who’s giving it as a baby shower gift. I want to thank Paul (Grampa) for doing this pattern for me in record time. He is amazing. Thanks again Paul.
  11. These are a couple of dog pattern I just finished cutting out. Want to give a shout out to (Grampa) Paul and jr42 for getting these done for me. jr42 was able to come up with the font we needed to. Thanks for these great pattern makers we have her. Much appreciated. Just need to put a couple coats of poly on them.
