I guess I’m old fashioned. I loosen the staples, remove the insert refasten the staples and keep the insert with the magazine.
put the area I want to make a copy of on my printer and press copy. I don’t do that digital stuff.

The reason I  won't subscribe to Scrollsaw Workshop is the problems scanning the insert in the middle.  I have had a number of discussions back and forth and they are stuck in the dark ages. Would be easy to make available with your customer ID and a password in magazine.
I now wait till they issue the DVD and I read the old issues and am able to get patterns digitally. On the recent DVD the centre spread takes a little work.
I  now have issues 1-84 that way.

On patterns larger than my scanner can handle, I put a pencil line down half the pattern, print both pieces and attach to the wood using the line as a guide.

Ok Village peps, I've been experimenting with 2 different ways to get color into a project and explore different ways of doing it.
So 2 Crosses done in different ways. Which one in your opinion is better. How you measure better is up to you. I'm on the fence between the 2.
I will say the one on the left is acrylic,  the one on the right is stained glass.  The glass was a bit of a challenge and I'm still on the learning curve.
    So.....what do you think 🤔

The glass doesn't show on the sides. I put an 1/8" spacer around the perimeter to hide the edge of the glass before putting the glass in and gluing the stack together

@JTTHECLOCKMAN, heres a short video showing both sides. As this is still in the experiment stage I painted one side silver in an effort to mimic solder, the jury is still out on that.

I like them both, although I am partial to the green colored one.

Both are beautiful. I like the one on the right the best. My wife used to do stained glass, so I know how much work that is .

Wow, you are doing stained glass.  That is super impressive!👏  What a talented guy....I too like the stain glass one it really captures the light.

Stained glass is the winner for me.

I like the colors of the acrylic, but, I'd like to see a picture of the stained glass with light behind it.

I like both of them. I have to admire you for learning to work with the stained glass. But, for those of us more indolent folks, and I am including myself, the acrylic will be the easier path. I always wanted to learn stained glass but never got around to doing it. Too old now.

I join the masses - the stained glass looks great.  It has texture to it which changes the light.
The acrylic is nice as well.

I love both as well.  Each has its own challenges. I find doing stained glass easier for me as I have done it for years.  I would love to see each with light behind them to get a better idea of how they each would look with the light.

I know RBI Hawk used to sell a drip system for cutting glass and ceramic etc.. I'm not sure they offer that any more. I think Hegner sells a system still too.. not sure if these systems would work on other saws but the biggest concern I'd have is getting all that into the motor on some saws and then other saws have bearings etc exposed at the front.

You know I do agree with you about the stained glass being easier. as compared to Intarsia. With Intarsia the margin of error (gaps) is almost zero, with stained glass the margin is much larger, better for these old tired eyes (lol)

I gotta say my wife agrees with you too.
For me the stained glass has "life" where the acrylic is so sterile in my opinion.
