  1. Will Steve Good have a booth and/or doing a demonstration? bb
  2. I would not recommend the Pegas Modified Geometry for 5/16" as it is a very aggressive blade. However for 3/4" hardwoods I haven't found anything else that would beat the Pegas blade. bb
  3. The D&D website cited above is correct. bb
  4. D&D has been my source for a couple years now! Excellent service. In fact they recommended the Pegas Modified Geometry blades when I was having trouble with the FD blades on very hard hardwoods 3/4" thick. Been with Pegas MG blades ever since. bb
  5. I ditched FD blades for Pegas Modified Geometry blades a couple years ago for cutting puzzles from 3/4" hardwoods. Now my FD blades are collecting dust. I give them away every chance I get.
  6. It's been 6 months or so but the last Pegas #3 M.G. blades I bought at Woodcraft in Roswell, GA were $3.80/doz. bb
  7. Dick, check my website. Fire trucks, race car, mermaid, clock, F-16 etc. all non animals.
  8. Thanks all for your comments. I switched to a #3 blade and it helped! Francisco aka Pancho: Good idea on the tilt. I assume both ends of the rotor would need to be tilted?
  9. Maybe your friend should rename his place: "Dew Drop Inn" bb
  10. A magnificent piece!!!!! memories. Not mine. But my Dad's who was born in 1908. he remembers the horses. Miller Hose Co. Newfane, NY bb
  11. Don, I'm gonna start it out at $24 and see how it sells at that price.
  12. Kevin, do you have a pic of your helicopter?
  13. I have a program on my computer called "Paint" where I can draw circles, ovals, squares, etc. You could print out an oval and then adhere it to wood via temporary adhesive and the cut away. The program came free with my HP computer. To do an oval with a router is possible but beyond my skill level.
  14. Love the magazine!!!! I think it is the only scroll magazine published in the USA.
  15. Without a doubt the best, most cherished project is the United States Wildlife Puzzle that my granddaughter and I designed and then I cut out and colored. It was published in ScrollSaw Woodworking and Crafts magazine a couple years ago.
  16. Ike, You might try other Pegas blades for fretwork. The Pegas modified geometry blades are the best I've used for cutting puzzles from 3/4" hardwoods.
  17. Ditto here! I buy them by the gross here: http://www.dndsawbladesonline.com/
  18. Rocky, guess you missed the winning lotto numbers I sent you a couple months ago.
  19. Kevin, what do you mean by ledger lines?
  20. Good idea. I think I will try a #3 Pegas Modified Geometry blade. Should work well on walnut. The original was cut with a #5 Pegas MG blade
  21. It took me most of the day to design this helicopter. Just couldn't get it to hang right. So I used some "keys" from Judy Peterson's long dragon. After 6 cuts I finally have something I can live with. The first one was so droopy it was actually hilarious. Had a request for a helicopter last year and will take this version to my first show of the year in Fairhope, AL this March. Whatya think? Any suggestions for improvement? I thought about cutting out windows but there just isn't room for that.
  22. Feel free to copy and sell the puzzle. Let me know how it goes. If you need the actual pattern send me a private post.
  23. Don, Ironically I just cut the same puzzle from walnut and used Watco Danish Oil. It dried overnight but I usually wait a week for it to cure before packaging. I haven't cut this puzzle in a couple years but remember it being a good seller in the $12-$14 range.
  24. Check out the cross puzzle I designed. It hasn't been a good seller @ $18 so I intend to discontinue.
  25. Super Bowl? Just like any football game. organized violence.
