  1. Nice weather so why not make some sawdust, applied the first coat of Danish oil and now dry time outside.

  3. Nice cutting Jessie, I used either the Pegas #3 mg or FDUR #3 and not much sanding required. For the finish I used 2 coats of Tung oil and one coat of Shellac on the good side only. Glad you are back at the saw.
  4. I used either FUR#3 or Pegas MDG #3 they both do a nice job even with the hardwoods. They slowed down in Purple Heart but who is in a hurry???????

  6. It is so nice to be a SNOWBIRD and to be able to scroll outside. Got a few things done with my Florida shop, very limited as to amount of tools and room, but it is so nice to be outside in the sunshine.

  10. I used a furnace motor and just install a drill chuck on it, cheap and it works great.

  15. I got this commission order for this Kleenex box from a very good friend, after she saw a different pattern that I had cut before (tulips) it is from Sue Mey. She wanted roses pattern, well over 320 holes later, here is the finished project. I even double the sides so I cut 2 at once. Will not make money on this, cost of pattern, wood and other material over $25 spent at least 4 hours cutting and I might get $40 for the Kleenex box. We never get rich in this hobby, we make families and friends very happy.

  17. Check the adjustment on the upper arm, that the distance between the back and the front is the same.
  18. This is an Alexfox pattern I did the cutting, my wife did the painting and I put it together. Another gift done.
