  9. Thank you Dick But if the pattern has a many intentional floaters how would someone place correctly on a backer? Thank you
  10. Hello all, This may be a stupid question: Does having floaters in a plaque or other patterns mean you need a backer? Thanks Sam

  13. I have done the 20 in fan, but I have to get it so close to the scrollsaw that it gets in the way sometimes and I have to keep moving it.
  14. Please show it to us when you get it. Thx Sam
  15. These Grizzly ones cannot ship to California for the current regulations (whatever that is). Stupid California Regulations :( "PLEASE NOTE: This product cannot ship to California due to current state regulations."
  16. The name of the font is "REGAL". It is all over the place online. This is what it looks like before cutting. There are simple and more complex versions of this font. I just want to type the letter, CUT IT WITH A RECTANGLE and then type inside that rectangle Thank you Dick and Dan,
  17. No Dan, you can get this font and similar ones but without the space in the letter. The one I show is already cut with some program. I would like to use Inkscape to CUT the large letter and then put a simple text inside. I know this not simple to cut but I would modify the swirls to a simple shape. thank you Sam
  18. I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask an Inkscape question. I am trying to get a split letter font to work. Can the following be done in Inkscape (please see the attached image). There is a program called "silhouette" which can be used to cut the image of the font I am attaching. So my question is: can this be done in Inkscape? Thank you all Sam
  19. Thank you Jim, I am still waiting for members who actually have one of these to chime in thanks again sam
  20. Thank you JT, I never turn on my scroll saw or sander without a mask. I use the 3M with the pink twin disc things Thanks again. Sam
  21. Hi all, I searched the forum for this topic but got no where. I am considering one of these air cleaners. I have a 6 x 10 x 7 high work room. Anyone has this type of air cleaners. Please see pictures. Thank you Sam
  22. Smart way Thank you for sharing Sam
  23. I agree. The one on left appears blind.
  24. I also use a MASK and have the SAME SETUP on my EX 16 except I have not upgraded to the addition of the small blower fan I depend on the little blower tube which leaves my saw table top with layer of dust as I am working. I will upgrade Sam
  25. I like Len's Idea of cutting the puzzle out of a scrap wood Sam
