  5. Valentines day is soon to be upon us again, I started early this year and made 2 presents for my lovely lady. They are both made from 4mm birch ply, the Bear has a red card for a backer and the wordart has a ply backer stained red with a water based wood dye. Both are finished with one coat of celulose lacquer. Hope she likes them. Keith.

  11. Thats a great looking basket there, and only 4 hours to cut it too, It would have taken me longer to cut it. The last one like that I tried to cut looked so bad when I finished it that it wend straight into the "Designer Firewood" bucket.

  13. it goes to show how good your work is if they are going to pinch them from the shop, but you were right to pull out of the shop if they can't look after your stock when it's in their care.

  16. Yes Marg, it's 4mm birch ply finished with sanding sealer then 1 coat of lacquer.
  17. Just finished yet another Christmas tree (Pattern by Sue Mey) I modified the pattern slightly by adding a pine base

  20. I think it looks brilliant, and well cut too. I know from past experience that chipboard is not the best material to work with on a scroll saw.
