  5. That is an awesome pattern and cutting. Sometimes the oak will split on me when I try to cut it down thin like that.

  9. The oval plaque is made of white oak and has a walnut inlay. I measures 15" x 9" The inlay is a delta symbol from Star Trek in case you don"t know. I had no idea what it was. That was my customers idea. The other other is red oak measuring 10" x 15". The tree pattern was a stencil which I found on google and made some adjustments. Both are finished natural in laquer. dave

  18. Roly, I use Birds of Paradise most of the time when I inlay names. It is usually less work to use script. I also put in some bridges. I thank you again for the nice comments. dave
