    Larry gave you a good starting point. The blade size and wood thickness all makes a difference. I do a lot using 3/8" stock and a #5 blade. It is usually about 2.5 degrees. I usually drill the pilot hole straight. I try to keep the hole on the side that the wood is dark.There's a lot of ways to do it but I hold my wood together with double sided scotch tape. dave

    Nathan, I use maple, birch and oak 1/4" MDF plywood. I was using 1/2" Baltic Birch for the backer and I recently switched to MDF. The edges are a pain to finish but it is a lot cheaper. I do design all my sport patterns myself using Inkscape. I am always happy to share. My patterns are never good enough to post because I make adjustments with a pencil before I cut them. dave

    Edward, I put a saw tooth hanger on everything I make. I use a paper clip opened up to hook them to the shelving wire. dave

    I am a newbie at setting up at shows so I am learning as I go. I made some displays for my plaques this week. I am using shelving that I bought at a big box store and am putting them together with zip ties. With my projects being displayed better today I more than doubled my sales. dave

    Old dust. The house divided plaque I sell for $25. Must be a bit cheap because I sell them out every week. I stack cut three at a time. I would rather move them at a good price than have them set. dave

    Ralph, I'm really not a sports enthusiast but I love to scroll. It seems to me that in this area sports is something people will spend money on. I went to a local garden center and there was all kinds of stuff with team logos on. dave
