  1. Yep, looks really good
  2. I use the sole of a sneaker (or a flip flop) on all sanding belts and discs, works just as well
  3. 1/8th, and do a stack of 3 or 4, I use an PMG # 3 for most everything and certainly for this
  4. Roughly 8x10 inches I used golden oak stain on aspen for the beak The leaves are aspen, and I mixed green and red acrylic to get a soft muddy green and then water to make it more of a wipe than a paint.
  5. I saw a pic on the net, cropped the part of the pic I liked, did a pattern, and added the fence. Aspen, Mahogany, Walnut, and red cedar too
  6. It's called flocking, fine fibers you blow on adhesive https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07NBWQZTB/?coliid=I2RKRLBA7PZNJ1&colid=10HJQF4P05R6U&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
  7. That is going to be an amazing piece Denny. Number of holes is interesting, number of blades would be too.
  8. Add me to that list, I feel the same way. The ease of cutting (in some respects) is not worth the added work of removing fuzzzies.
  9. Welcome to the family. Best group of folks I have found anywhere on the internet.
  10. Thanks y'all. I really miss the days when I could bend over a fender and work on an engine, if I do it today, I am ruined for a week!
  11. its been raining/drizzling for the past week, and the temp dropped too. So I, as the wife says, "Piddled in the shop" some Saw this S Good pattern and thought how true, changed it from a shelf sitter though
  12. or the basic version (I use this one and find it is fine for what I do) https://smile.amazon.com/GRR-RIP-BLOCK-Pushblock-Router-Jointer/dp/B00DNX3N7S/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=woodworking+gripper&qid=1584788544&sr=8-7 Things like this are perfect when you have a b-day, anniversary, etc etc coming up
  13. Really nice cutting
  14. Excellent work
  15. Seems to me that the problem is with the pattern when you cut the side that has Busch, the "holes" at the end of the word will cause drop outs in the adjacent side that was cut If you look at Brenda's nice cutting, both words take the same space horizontally
  16. Really really nice cutting
  17. @Heli_av8tor Thank you for all you and your kind did, we all keep your MOS and passion in our prayers. Here is one I did
  18. Nice sign You have to wonder who watched one fall and tried to eat it
  19. your link didn't work try this one https://smile.amazon.com/Cen-Tec-Systems-94192-Universal-Collection/dp/B07NZZZ5ZL/ref=sr_1_14?keywords=dust+collection+hose&qid=1584095946&sr=8-14
  20. I'm a sucker for contrast, but I still like the hooded skull better. I think if I were to make this I would do the hood in different shade, and use the same stain for the third layer as you used in the solo skull
  21. Been there done that enjoy the scrolling, have the wife put it together, they (mine at least) has more patience and littler fingers
  22. Beautiful work Dick, great modification to the pattern too, it all comes together
  23. Ralph there is more to the blade than just square to the table, plumb is important, see the attachment clamp set up.pdf
