looks like it will be a great clock. maybe you could get thin wood at Lowes, they seem to have it in poplar, red oak and maple.

I've had the Grizzly for over 20 years, don't use it very often but when I need it I sure am glad I bought the machine. It has spindles from 1/4" to 4 inches.
