  1. FD UR is a reverse blade and that is what is causing the burning. A blade like FD Polar is not reverse and cleans out the kerf with less burning. I used FD Polar for years on compound cutting. I now use Pegas Skip blades, especially number 7.

  4. Frank, glad you received the saw and so far happy with it. As for suction, one of the first things I did was remove the plastic saw dust catcher under the table that is connected to the shop vac. That is what is causing the suction. I use a Seyco Vac to collect the dust. On the EX 21 just vacuum the floor.
  5. That is a wonderful piece and framed too! Is this your pattern?
  6. As a follow up to my previous post, Pegas lists three Micromotors by Marathon. As stated, I stock the K35. Marathon Micromotor 50K lists for $922.20 Marathon Micromotor N7 lists for $389.00 Marathon Micromotor K35 lists for $159.00
  7. I have the Marathon K 35 Cube in stock, sold by Pegas. List is $159. My price is $140 plus shipping.
  8. Very well done, Ike.
  9. I also use black, but on occasion used blue or green.

  12. Thanks Jim. I really like this pattern.
  13. This pattern is by Keith Fenton and found in CWWC August 2014, the last published issue. I used Red Oak 1/2" x 8" x 10" and backed with Baltic Birch plywood stained black with SamaN stain. It was cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #3R MGT blades. After sanding, finished with spray Shellac.
