  1. I guess I am one of those boarders too!
  2. As said, it depends on the project. For backing, I use a Canadian product called Samen Stain.
  3. Welcome to the forum from Tennessee.
  4. As a framer, we have scrap mat board of many different colors. Works great as a backer.
  5. Those would be fun to play with even at my age.
  6. Very well done.
  7. Nice Dick. The owner of our building is a professional fisherperson. Maybe it should be "with her best catch".
  8. Wow, that is wonderful, especially that you reduced it by 50%. FYI. The FD New Spiral #3/0 is listed as 0.024" in diameter on the website. The Pegas Spiral #2/0 is 0.0236" in diameter with a cutting trace of 0.0276".
  9. Very well done. The finish is right on.
  10. Very well done. What wood did you use?
  11. Very well done, Dick. A Steve Good pattern I must have missed.
  12. Very well done. Memories like that are to be treasured.
  13. Awesome, Jim. Are the little Christmas Balls inlay too?
  14. Awesome project, Jim. I sure like the side view to show depth.
  15. On tip I received, keep your first project and hang it on the wall of your shop. A visible evidence of your progress.
  16. Thanks all for the nice comments.
  17. Thanks Pete. No, we are safe. We got lots of rain, but that is all.
  18. Thanks for all the nice comments.
  19. Thanks Gordon. I really like Jacob Fowler’s patterns.
  20. Thanks Gordon.
  21. Thanks RJ. You are right, a little here and a little there. Never kept track of the time.
  22. Thanks Gordie. Yes, the uprights are slotted to fit in both the base and top. Not sure if I can follow I cut the pattern just as Sue Mey sent it. The spaces between the uprights is more than I wanted. If I make another, I will add to the width of the uprights.
