  1. Larry, very well done. I also have that book. I really like the tray idea.
  2. Excellent cutting on a very delicate project.
  3. Excellent craftmanship on that project. Your staining is right on.
  4. Wow, Tony those are some great cuttings.
  5. Congrats on the sales.
  6. This happens more on reverse blades.
  7. Gad you got it now for the stand that is backordered. Should be next week.
  8. Thanks Kevin. The display is just inside our door.
  9. Thanks Brenda. What is "Cack Handed"? They are extremely easy to make.
  10. Thanks Ray. I have had it for years and makes a great display.
  11. Wow Rolf, you outdone yourself on this one.
  12. I finished the last 2 to fill this display. A day late for Veterans Day, but I will keep it up until Saturday. The patterns are by Keith Fenton and the one on the top by Sam Custodio. Comments welcome.
  13. I added 7 more Miniature Birdhouse Ornaments to my display at ArtCrafters. There are now 17 on the display with room for 7 more. A great way to display these Miniature Birdhouse Ornaments.
  14. Thank you to all the veterans both retired and still in service. We have a grandson in-law serving in Korea. God speed to all.
  15. Welcome to the forum from TN. I use FD UR and Polar blades. ArtCrafters is also a distributor for Pegas. I just started using Pegas MGT blades. You might want to give some a try, but blades are whatever works best for you.
  16. Welcome to the Village forum from Tennessee.
  17. Not sure how to answer this question. I would say about the same as Hard Maple.
  18. I have the Seyco vacuum system on the Pegas, so the little holes are an advantage. Not so much for you with the coin cutting.
  19. Hi Randy. I see very little difference except that the EX21 is about 6 years older. The EX21 has the Pegas blade clamps which is a must improvement. Dust collection is the same as the black EX21. I removed it when I installed the Seyco on the Pegas.
  20. Thanks Ray. My EX21 is still my go to saw in the shop, especially with the Pegas blade clamps.
  21. I cut six Miniature Birdhouse Ornaments on the Pegas Scroll Saw. I used 1 1/2” square Ash. I used Pegas MGT #7 blades. I cut the first two using the same blade. It started to drag on the second one but cut without any problems. The Saw cut with very little vibration even with thick stock. So far very impressed with the Saw.
  22. Congrats on the new machine and Happy Birthday. I am cutting Miniature Birdhouse Ornaments on the demo Pegas Scroll Saw at ArtCrafters. I just cut three and a little break and then three more.
  23. Hi Gary. I mix mine in a wide mouth jar with a tight lid. Great for dipping Miniature Birdhouse Ornaments. As it runs low, I just add more.
  24. I agree with the others. I use Shellac diluted 50% with alcohol and the several coats of spray Polyurethane. For that one maybe clear gloss.
