  1. Looks great, Gary. I did the same pattern some time ago and used 1/2" stock.
  2. That is quite some production. You sure like scrolling for others.
  3. Very well done. Fit and finish is right on.
  4. Thanks Larry. The Lamb is cut from Aspen and dipped in BLO. The BLO turned the edges dark and also yellowed the Aspen. Not happy with the BLO. I also cut my puzzles with FD Polar #5. Now that we are distributors for Pegas, I wanted to give the Pegas MGT a try. It is strange, but the size of the Polar #5 is almost the same as the MGT #9. Can't go by blade numbers. I finish almost all my pieces with the Mac Mop. Great minds think alike.
  5. Thanks Dave. Scrap hardwoods.
  6. Thanks Marg. Two all ready sold.
  7. Same here. I have a lot of FD UR and Polar blades
  8. Glad they worked out for you. Jim.
  9. Thanks Ron. There are some really cute puzzles in the book.
  10. Funny. The owner can do whatever even play on the saw.
  11. Thanks Ron, all the pieces are scraps.
  12. Thanks. Yes, one piece slides into the other to give a 3D effect.
  13. I cut these last Friday during a slow time at ArtCrafters using the Pegas Scroll Saw and Pegas MGT #9 blades. The patterns are by Dave and Judy Peterson and found in there new book "Scroll Saw Baby Animals". I used 3/4" Aspen for the Lamb and 3/4" Walnut for the Playful Puppy. The finish is dipping in Boiled Linseed Oil. Comments welcome.
  14. Thanks Ralph. No I did not stack cut. It would be a challenge. I may give stack cutting these on the Pegas Scroll Saw a try.
  15. Thanks Dick. My favorite is the one made with Hard Maple. It is also the easiest to cut.
  16. Monday, November 4th, I finished four more ornaments. These are 8 through 11 of the set of 12. The patterns are by the late Dirk Boelman and purchased through Scroller Online. The first is made from 1/4" Bloodwood, the second from 1/4" Hard Maple, and the last two from 1/4" Padauk. These were cut on the EX21 with FD UR #1 blades. The finish is spray Polyurethane Clear Gloss. Comments welcome.
  17. Welcome to the forum. My store, ArtCrafters, is a distributor for Pegas so I may have a slanted view. My go to Saw is the EX21 and I found the Pegas similar. I completed several test cuttings on the Pegas with great results. My next test cutting will be compound cutting Miniature Birdhouse Ornaments.
  18. Wow excellent, Dan. Sales at ArtCrafters are picking up too.
  19. I like what John said. Now you have a few more dollars to buy supplies.
  20. All three are very well done, Bobby.
  21. Welcome to the forum from Tennessee.
