  1. Thanks Ralph. There are two great patterns in the new SWWC magazine.
  2. Thanks Roly. The Poplar was easy to cut especially with FD UR #5 blades.
  3. Thanks DW and Paul. Appreciate the nice comments.
  4. I needed a quick easy project from the new issue of SWWC Winter 2017. The pattern is by Bruce Shea. I used 3/4" Poplar for the word art and 1/4" Yellowheart for the star. The blades used were FD UR #1 and #5. The finish was one coat of sanding sealer and two coats of spray Shellac. Comments welcome.
  5. Thanks, Bruce. Butternut is very soft, but easy to work. Yes, the grain is open, but using the sanding sealer and sanding with a mac mop solved the grain issue. No problem with the cutting and fall outs. I would not recommend anything thinner than 1/2"
  6. Wish you the best, Edward.

  12. You should do well with them.
  13. Very nice cutting. As for price, it is what the market will bear. Here in Dayton, prices for art and craft items are a lot less than say Chattanooga.

  15. Thanks, but Steve is way ahead.

  22. As an update, Sue Mey shared my Facebook post of the Trivet on Stand. I received a like from Ted Buzzelli one of my favorite designers. I made several of his patterns.
