  1. Thanks DW. It was a fun project.
  2. Thanks JR. It is for sale at ArtCrafters, but if it doesn't sell, I have just the space for it.
  3. Thanks Jeff. One o Thanks Jeff. ne of the new frame mouldings. One of my favorites.
  4. This pattern is by Jacob Fowler and found in the book "Woodworkers Pattern Book". He called it the 'Delicate Doe", but I renamed it the "Delicate Fawn" because we have a visit about once a week from a fawn just like this one. I enlarged the pattern by 40% to fit an 11" x 14" frame. I used 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood and FD UR #1 blades. The backing is black mat board. I framed it at ArtCrafters using Acrylic rather than glass. Comments welcome.
  5. I always top feed both the DeWalt 788 and the EX21.
  6. Welcome to the forum from TN. The best to you on your new scroll saw.
  7. Very well done, Pete. Everything about it is perfect.
  8. Thanks all for the nice comments.
  9. Thanks Tim. By the way, you did a Montana sign. Where did you get the pattern?
  10. Thanks RJ and Paul. I really like the look of Aspen on this project.
  11. The pattern is by Sheila Landry and purchased from her website. I used 1/2" Aspen approximately 8" x 8" and FD UR #1 blades. This one took hours to cut. I didn't count the frets, but it mush be over 200. Comments welcome.
  12. Actually, I do too, Marg, but not sure how that would go over at a golf tournament.
  13. A wonderful pattern and great cutting.
  14. Nice projects, Peter. I did that bowl out of western red cedar. Nowhere near as good as yours.
  15. Well done. One of my favorites, but never had one.
  16. Thanks Melanie and Dave
  17. Welcome to the forum from TN.
  18. I did the smaller ones, but had to replace a battery. The replacement cost as much as the clock.
  19. Thanks everyone. I really don't like mini clocks, but the 2 3/4" clock looks great on this project.
  20. Thanks Terry.
  21. Cute, Bernd. I will have to use that in the future.
  22. Thanks Iggy and DW. I was hopping the Poplar would turn out more green.
  23. Each year I donate a project to the local hospital's golf tournament. I saw this on Steve Good's site and said this is the one. I don't like making mini clocks because of the batteries. This one is 2 3/4" and uses AAA batteries. The upright is 3/4" Hard Maple and the base is 1/2" Poplar. I used FD UR #3 and #5 blades. The finish is two coats of spray Shellac. Comments welcome.
  24. Well done on that cutting.
