I made this over the weekend and as I mentioned, I had to move the scroll saw into the house. The pattern is by Jacob Fowler and found in SWWC issue #65. I used 1/4" Walnut plywood and backed with 3/8" Baltic Birch plywood. The blades were FD UR #2/0 and #3. Ther is one coat of 50% BLO and two coats spray Shellac. Comments welcome.
Welcome to the forum from TN. Buy the best scroll saw that fits your budget. I started out with a $200 saw and within a week, returned it and bought a DeWalt 788. Ihave had and still have the saw, but three years ago purchased an Excalibur EX21.
It is 38 degrees in the shop this morning. The EX21 is still in the entry way. I will work on something, but still not sure. Weather report says 70 by the weekend.
