  1. Not sure if I would like 80 degrees in January RJ, but you can sure work in the shop.
  2. Welcome to the forum from TN. Buy the best scroll saw that fits your budget. I started out with a $200 saw and within a week, returned it and bought a DeWalt 788. Ihave had and still have the saw, but three years ago purchased an Excalibur EX21.

  4. Well done, Don. I use FD Polar #5 on my 3/4" puzzles. It seems the pieces fit together better.
  5. Nice clean cutting, Al. We are open at the store on Saturdays, but Mondays are like Saturdays.

  7. It seems like there is a hockey game almost every night. I try a listen to the Wild games when possible.

  10. It is 38 degrees in the shop this morning. The EX21 is still in the entry way. I will work on something, but still not sure. Weather report says 70 by the weekend.

  13. It warmed up to 38 degrees. Wasn't to get above 30 degrees.

  17. I have several projects to cut and the garage temperature is 41 degrees. For the first time ever, I brought the EX21 inside to do the cutting. I will have some clean up, but at least warm.

  21. I tried staining a piece with walnut stain and had the same results
