  2. I also use the FD New Spiral blades #2/0, #1 and #3 depends on the thickness of the wood.

  4. Welcome to the forum from TN. I have both a DeWalt 788 and an Excalibur EX21. As mentioned, the EX21 is out of stock. There is now a Jet and soon to be (March) Seyco. As for blades, buy online and not from the big box stores.
  5. A little trivia, Festus, Ken Curtis, was the lead singer of the Sons of the Pioneers fro 1949 to 1952.

  11. Last Thursday, I requested a pattern and had two quick responses. The friend chose the pattern by DonR. I made some modifications such as increased size and eliminated some of the circle lines. The wood is Maple plywood and backed with Walnut plywood. I used FD New Spiral #1 on the Minuteman and FD UR #1 for everything else. Thanks Don for a great pattern. Comments welcome.
