  1. I purchased 15 new patterns from Diana Thompsons website. Several were duplicates, so I now have 20 patterns. These six were from the new patterns. I used Flame Maple for the birdhouses and Eastern Red Cedar for the birds. The Flame Maple turned out great. Comments welcome.

  9. I use the Mac Mop on every project. My 220 is about wore down to nothing.
  10. The smallest FD UR blade I use is #1. I would like to know too.
  11. Welcome to the forum from TN. I don't use painter tape. I print my patterns on contact paper. It peels off with a little work and there is no residue.
  12. Thanks for all the nice comments. Quite easy to make. The trick is to be sure each layer is correctly alligned when gluing. I glue two layers at a time.

  18. I finished this piece on Monday, September 19th. The pattern is by Keith Fenton. I posted this on Facebook and right away, Sheila Landry replied. Great to have comments by the designer. The wood is 1/2" Hard Maple and it is approximately 7 1/2" x 9 1/2". The finishe is 50% BLO and one coat of spray Shellac. I used FD UR #1 blades. Comments welcome.

  20. I finished this bowl on Monday, September 19th. The pattern is by Steve Good and downloaded from his catalog. I used 1/2" Walnut and cut the rings with FD Polar #3 blades. The finish is 50% BLO with one coat of Shellac. It is approximately 5" high and 7" in diameter. Comments welcome.
