  1. Thanks for the update. The people of Ukraine are in our prayers daily. Personally I am supporting Samaritan’s Purse. They have an emergency field hospital just inside the border. Check it out. Another way to help Alex personally is to buy his patterns. I have six of his bowl patterns and plan to buy more.
  2. Welcome t the Village forum from Tennessee.
  3. Welcome to the Village forum from Tennessee. Scrolling is a fun hobby and can be very addictive.
  4. As a framer, we have an excess of mat boards in all colors. I mostly use the black. If you have a local custom framer, they may have free small mat boards.
  5. Very well done. Great finish.
  6. Very well done. Glad you like the saw. I knew it is a plant holder.
  7. Thanks for the comments, Frank. Always appreciated. I did not have a lot of 1/2" stock to chose from, so I used what I had.
  8. Thanks Marg. Two more made from Cherry. Maybe posting later
  9. Thanks Dave. Fun projects.
  10. Thanks. Two are dripping dry, one is cut ready to sand and three more still to cut.
  11. Thanks Pete. A fun easy cut.
  12. Thanks RJ. Actually fun to cut.
  13. Thanks Barry. Yes, I like the Cherry, but I use what I have. Two more will be Cherry and four will be Ash.
  14. Trivet #1 and Trivet #2 of a set of 8 designed by Sue Mey and finally finished. The Trivet #1 wood is 1/2" Walnut 8" square. The Trivet #2 wood is 1/2" Cherry 8" square. Cut on the Pegas scroll saw using Pegas #3R MGT blades. After sanding, dipped in BLO, dried for a day, sanded again, dipped in BLO again, final sanding and then a light rubbing with paste wax. Comments welcome.
  15. Very well done. Color really adds interest.
  16. Welcome to the Village forum from TN.
  17. Hi Dave. The "hockey stick" on a blade is usually an indication of the thumb screw with swivel where the swivel is not working. Check the swivel and make sure it works. The thumb screw with swivel is replaceable. You should have received one with the new Pegas Scroll Saw.
  18. A great way to display such beautiful work.
  19. I have always been a top feeder. I site the hole on the table and place the wood over the hole. Works most of the time, but when it doesn’t, finger under the table.
  20. Very well done.
  21. A work of art
  22. Very nice. I can't paint either, but the colors really make it pop
  23. Wonderful. Years ago, we had a chance to visit his Galley in South Dakota.
  24. Sweet setup, Pete.
  25. I still like to use lesson one in Scroll Saw Workbook 2 nd edition by John A Nelson. Your project ideas are great.
