    A project finished Monday, July 4th. The pattern is by Judy & Dave Peterson and found in their book, Making Wooden Dinosaur Toys and Puzzles. I used 3/4" Poplar. It is approximately 5 1/2" x 11". Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #3R MGT blades and Pegas #1 Spiral blades for the veining. After sanding with a Mac Mop, dipped in diluted Shellac and then sanded again. Blades purchased from artcraftersonline.com. Comments welcome.

    Three Miniature Birdhouse Ornaments finished. The patterns by Diana Thompson. The birdhouses are Ash, and the first 3 little birds are Purpleheart and the fourth one is Eastern Red Cedar. Cut on the Pegas scroll saw using Pegas #6 Skip blades. The finish is dipped in diluted Shellac. Comments welcome.

    In all my years, I purchased only 2 Mac Mops. The second one is still going strong. At $43 for many years use, it is a bargain. This is the one I purchased. Klingspor Abrasives Spindle Mounted Mac Mop, 240 Grit 7"x 2"x 1/4" Spindle (woodworkingshop.com)
