  1. My goodness, what a change in five years. Congrats on all your success.
  2. Sorry about the confusion, Tom. ArtCrafters is also a custom framing store and we use them in framing. If interested, send me a PM.
  3. We have a product called "Wall Buddies". Perfect for this application.
  4. I print my patterns on full sheet labels. Extremely sticky, so I also use painters tape.
  5. Yes, there is a specific mounting orientation. The blade faces to the front of the saw and the teeth pointing down. It is sometimes hard to tell the direction of the teeth. Run your finger along the blade. Rough side up so the teeth are pointing down.
  6. Yes, the Pegas Super Skip will work. If you would like to try some samples. Send me a P M. We, ArtCrafters, sell Pegas.
  7. Thanks. Yes, that is the book. Jacob is one of my favorite designers. I made eight from that book.
  8. Again, thanks for all the nice comments. Yes, those are frets. Actually 122. This one took a lot of time.
  9. Thanks everyone for the nice comments
  10. Perched Bald Eagle. The pattern is by Jacob Fowler and found in the book Woodworkers Pattern Book. It is made from 1/2" solid Walnut with a 3/4" solid Walnut base and stands 15 1/2" tall.. Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #1R MGT blades. Dipped in Shellac diluted 50% with Denatured Alcohol and twp coats MinWax spray Lacquer Clear Satin. Sanding with a Mac Mop between coats. Comments welcome.
  11. Welcome to the Village forum from Tennessee.
  12. Glad you like the new saw. Yes it takes a little time to get used to the workings. The letters turned out great. Nice clean cuts.
  13. The Pegas Super Skip blade works perfectly on Acrylic at a reduced speed.
  14. That is sure beautiful. I call it Flame Maple.
  15. Thanks all for the nice comments.
  16. Thanks Frank. As an overlay, it is a very easy pattern.
  17. Thanks Pete. One is already out the door.
  18. Thanks Pete.
  19. Thanks Pete. Yes, except the Cardinal. That is an intarsia pattern by Louise Hood.
  20. I finally finished two Dream Catchers, one with a Cardinal and the other Hummingbird. The dream catchers made from Ash and the feathers Walnut and Maple. The Hummingbird is Cherry and the Cardinal from various hardwoods. The finish is a coat of spray Shellac as a sealer and two coats MinWax spray Lacquer Clear Satin.
  21. A pattern by Sue Mey. Finished two different ways. One is framed with a Birdseye Frame and the other backed with 3/8" Baltic Birch plywood stained black. Stack cut 1/8" BB plywood on a Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #1R MGT and #1 Spiral blades. The MGT blades on the lettering and the Spiral on everything else. Comments welcome.
  22. A pattern by Sue Mey. Finished two different ways. One is framed with a Birdseye Frame and the other backed with 3/8" Baltic Birch plywood stained black. Stack cut 1/8" BB plywood on a Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #1R MGT blades. In fact, I used only one blade on the project.
  23. Welcome to the Village forum from Tennessee.
  24. I use mostly Poplar, but other hardwoods as supply permits. Red Oak does not work well.
  25. Welcome to the Village forum from TN. I might be able to help with the blade question. Send me a PM.
